Stayed at the Makumba Summer Garden for 2 weeks in Aug. Really nice hotel, we stayed in a studio apartment which had small kitchen area with a fridge - ok for the two of us, The rooms were cleaned daily, bedsheets changed weekly. They have also a bar and restaurant but we like to go out for drinks and dinner. At the boulevard are many restaurants. Our favorite was the Bitez seaside restaurant in the middle of Bitez. Go there for english breakfast and see the sky news. In the evening it's the best best place, They have good food. Especially the Flambe's. The staff is friendly and funny and the price is good. if you like something new go to the turkish bath

Very friendly and clean its like a little village supermarket next door restaurant next door and the prices are very good. Beach 300 yards round corner, dolmus handy if you want to go to bodrum, 2 mins only for 2.50 lire. Air condition very expensive but necessary

I can't wait to go back to Bitez Makumba Summer Gardens in Bodrum. Great atmosphere without being too 'in your face'. Dolmos stops right outside. Within a few hours they know your name and make you feel so welcome. Wonderful for kids, but there is a quiet pool where they do not congregate.
