Good Points: Excellent Reticle design Multi coated lenses Compact turrets Great value Easy instructional dvd
Bad Points: None really
General comments: The Hawke Airmax is a fantastically designed reticle, ladder style with windage marks at varying ranges. It also has a clever little bracketing section in the lower left quarter making range finding a doddle once you get used to it. Just remember to check your magnification as this will affect things considerably.
Good light transmission through the multi coated lenses and easy adjustment with the compact turrets. I have the SR6 model and probably would have been better off with the SR12 but this one is ok although probably better suited to a .177 calibre.
The range markings on the adjustable objective aren't spot on but they rarely are. And for only 170 quid it's good value for money.
