Only a 5 star hotel in as much as the reception area has chandeliers, marble floors, potted plants and tinkling piano music.
As I was looking after my elderly parents we had requested an extra bed in our twin room. However on checking in at 3am we found that nobody had put an extra bed in the room. On enquiring as to why I was told it was to late to do anything about it - I would have to wait until the morning. There was no apology. I had to SLEEP ON THE FLOOR - very 5 star!
It was a strange mix to see conference guests in suits sitting alongside holiday makers dressed in bikinis and shorts.
The rooms themselves are nothing special - our room had no fridge, no tea/coffee making facilities and worst of all, some balconies have no partition barrier from the adjoining rooms.
Overall very disappointing for a 5 star hotel.

The Westin is a lovely hotel that is located very close to the sea and with lots of facilities. We had a really large room with a balcony and a very good sea view. The service is also extremely good, and the staff are all very pleasant and helpful. The food is amazing, and all the restaurants could provide me with a vegetarian meal, as I am vegetarian and usually find problems. There is also a kids club which my daughter loved. It is very well manned, and the child minders are very professional and organise a lot of activities for the children.
