Yes it's a sort of title to get your attention so here we go. I titled it that way because Los Angeles is where this awesome company is based. Wings because they supplied my "wings" i.e. my flights and tickets in such a way that stands out from the rest of the international flight ticket offices I've used before all of which were good but this one is the best to date. Not only did they provide great flights and prices they provided me with advice on how to address a ridiculous issue that occurred at my bank which I must say is service +

GREAT service last night! I made a mistake while I was booking online and never realized until after I paid in full. Contacted the service centre and they cancelled the credit card charges before it went through. Was able to rebook immediately after the correction was made. Now THATS customer service!!!!!!

I have used best travel store for at least five trips since 2013 and i always noticed that they stand out and offer best prices compared to other sites. Upon booking my last trip with best travel store, i got sick a few days before my flight and contacted the customer support asking them to better explain their cancellation policy providing them with the reasons behind cancellation. Instead of having me go through the pains and hoops of the cancellation process their customer service replied in one sentence notifying me that the flight has been cancelled at no cost! These guys are honest and reliable. I did recommend them already to two of my friends last year and will certainly deal with them again in future. Thanks again Best Travel Store Ihab

“Worst travel experience of my life!”

Best Travel Store booked an illegal domestic to International flight and refused to change without a $300 fee plus flight price difference.. I was to leave a on a domestic flight in Africa at 5.10pm, arriving at 7.05pm and HAD AN INTERNATIONAL CHANGEOVER WHICH REQUIRED TANSPORT FROM DOMESTIC TO INTERNATIONAL TERMINAL AT 8.05 pm to London ! I was told by major travel store manager that I WOULD MISS THE LONDON CONNECTION AS TOO SHORT TIME BETWEEN DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL FLIGHTS.... THIS BEST TRAVEL STORE REFUSED TO CHANGE DEPARTURE TIME TO EARLIER FLIGHT SO THAT I WOULD MAKE UK CONNECTION, AFTER MULTIPLE CALLS AND EMAILS WHICH I HAVE ONLINE THEY CONTINUED TO REFUSE.... RESULT WAS THAT I ARRIVED FOUR HOURS EARLIER FOR DOMESTIC FLIGHT SO THAT I COULD EXPLAIN THAT MY CHANGEOVER WAS IMPOSSIBLE TO DO..... THEY AGREED IMMEDIATELY AND CHANGED MY DEPARTURE TO TWO HOURS EARLIER.... ONLY LUCKY THAT I WENT MUCH EARLIER TO AIRPORT.... SHOCKING SHOCKING SERVICE AND THAT THEY BOOKED THIS ILLEGAL CONNECTION AS AN AGENT.... NEVER NEVER WILL I USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN AS THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS TERRIBLE AND I WORRIED FOR TWO WEEKS ABOUT HOW WOULD I MAKE THIS CONNECTION...... A NIGHTMARE INDEED AND EXTREMELY STRESSFUL UNTIL THE MOMENT I ARRIVED AT AIRPORT AND FLIGHT WAS CHANGED.....WHEN THEY SAW THAT THE AIRLINE IMMEDIATELY CHANGED THE FLIGHT THEY DID NOT SHOW ILLEGAL FLIGHT ON ITINARY..... I've used Best Travel Store (BTS) numerous times in the past with no problem. I recently booked a trip to Canada for my parents' 50th anniversary. Several weeks later, I got my statement from my credit card company. Much to my surprise, I found out that the airline had overcharged me by nearly $200. The way I understand it is that Best Travel Store offers the flights, but the airline is the one who charges you, so I didn't blame BTS for the overcharge. However, since I booked through BTS, I emailed them at their customer service. It took one day and two emails (one for my initial inquiry and a second after they requested a statement showing the overcharge) and everything was completely FIXED. They let me know that they were completely refunding the overcharge and apologized that it happened. They were wonderful and so easy to deal with! I also had to deal with the "Please Respond-flight change" email that so many others have dealt with. I will say, I received at least three emails (two telling me that my flight was changing, and a final one asking me to reply and ok the changes) and then a text message on my phone telling me I needed to respond to my email within 48 hours. I did respond, and tickets were reissued with no problem at all. I will not hesitate to use BTS again. They definitely have some of the cheapest prices on international flights and my recent issues were taken care of without a hitch. I've been a loyal customer on international travel since my first flight back in 2000, and thanks to their responsive customer service, I will continue to be one!

“Discount/rebate”

I was searching for an airfare and compared many travel websites. All offered the same price except BT-travel showed Discount/rebate $3.00. That was the reason I bought from them since I was bying multiple tickets. During the booking I was not paying attention to the price, but the other information - dates, names, etc. After I paid I noticed that the discount/rebate was not applied. I contacted the customer service, but they replied that I already acceptted the price and paid and nothing they can do about it. $3.00 per ticket is not a big deal, but be ware - sometimes the Discount/rebate is more.

“Don't Use Bad Agent”

RUN AWAY FROM THIS ONLINE AGENT. DON'T USE THEM. I booked a flight from them to travel from April 21st to June 1, 2014 for a price of $1,489.90, less than an hour later I called to change the date from April 21st to May 29th for same the price on their website. First the sent an email that bank denied by credit card. I called bank right away and was informed my purchase was not denied. I later find out that was their way to hack up the price if I delayed on acting on the email. After I receive the E-ticket and try to reserve a seat I discovered that my ticket reads April 21st to April 29th. They charged the same amount for 8 days trip rather than six weeks trip. I contacted them by email, they called and left message on voice mail and sent several emails promised to fix their error once I arrive at my destination with no charge to me. I contacted the airline myself tried to change the date but was informed that the agency will be the only one to make the change because it was a discounted ticket. After I arrived at my destination I contacted them, they completely changed tune and told me to do whatever I want to do. I end up making extra expenses of over $1000 in a foreign country to change my return ticket. I sued them in San Francisco Bay Area where I live after they refused to reimburse me. Initially they refused to accept my lawsuit, when they finally did, they talked tough that they will see me in court but then sent a letter to court citing a paragraph in their website that they can only be sued in Los Angles, CA County. RUN AWAY FROM THESE SHADY PEOPLE. If they mess you up, you can only sue them in Los Angeles County.

I have used Fareboom now on 4 or 5 trips to Vietnam. The fares have been by far the best I was able to find on the web. The trips were routed quite well, and the carriers used, particularly one person exceeded my expectations. To be honest, as I get ready to book several more trips, I dont even look any where else. “Worst change ever!”

I used them to book a business trip across the world, and chose business class. When I had to change the timing of the trip, which I moved to several weeks later, they rebooked my ticket, charged me a large fee and told me I had the same itinerary. But when the ticket arrived, they had moved me from business to economy - on a 9 hour flight -- and kept the same price. So, without notifying me, they committed me to an unchangeable $4,400 non-refundable economy class ticket. I could go economy class on this itinerary on any major airline for less than half that price. They are supposed to be a reputable agency, but they ripped me off, and when I called to ask them to correct their error, they said....too bad for you. You paid the fee and changed the ticket (remember -- I had no opportunity to review it) so you take the ticket or lose all your money. I will never use them again, and no one in my company ever will either. Potential buyers should force these agents to give them an itinerary with clear class designation before purchasing anything from them. Buyer beware!!!!

“Travel cancellation”

I booked a reservation from Cape Town to Tucson AZ with BTS on Qatar Airways. Several weeks after I booked my itinerary for myself and my wife I received notice that the flights from Cape Town to Doha had changed with flight # changes and very difference flight hours. Instead of a 1h50m layover in Doha before continuing to Dallas, the new flight resulted in an 8h40 layover. Then on the return instead of a 12h25m layover, for which we were going to book a hotel room, the new flight was a 7h05m layover. On neither the outbound or return would we have enough time for a hotel or other arrangement away from the airport as Qatar requires a transit visit for leaving the airport. I sent this information to BTS and asked them to assist me with a full refund. They did and Qatar agreed to giving us a full refund on a non-refundable ticket because of this schedule change. We are very grateful to BTS for their willingness to intercede for us with Qatar Airways. We will certainly use BTS again for our travel arrangements

I felt amaze and I took the risk to book. My risk turned out great. Their customer service is awesome. Very good and reliable company. I always booked our flight to the Philippines using this company. I used them three times but I had to cancel the third one. They only charged $100 for me and my wife for the cancellation fee and refunded me full amount. They are very professional and have very good customer service. I highly recommend them. “Medical Mission - change 9months away extra $400 - REALLY!”

Steer clear of Fareboom Best Travel Store (they have lost their direction).  Asked for a supervisor and received a person - very difficult to understand - as I was trying to resolve my issue - nothing would be done. He blamed the airline for costly charges of $400 per person - for a 3 day change (trip would be 9-months from now). He could take off $100 each ticket so $600 for the change total. Trip is for a medical mission trip to a Vietnam orphanage Be Tho. The carrier United Airlines said it would be no problem we can help - just need to coordinate with your travel agent (BTS) and it will be fine - no charge. So, when I asked to talk to a supervisor - he said he is it - no supervisor. I said everyone answers to someone. Nope - not this guy. (I found out the supervisor changes every week). I said you mean that you are the top? The CEO of Best Travel and Fareboom?  Yep - he is the only person at the top - no one else and he was not going to do any more. I said well after years as a good customer - that is the best you can do. He said that is it - you need to read the print. He did say - yes, I see you have a long history so you have benefited from us - so I think you will stay with us. I said not only will this be my last BTS - Fareboom purchase. After years of support - (having never tried to work with customer service) - I really cannot recommend you to my many traveling friends anymore (as I have in the past) or give you a positive review - because you can do more - you just are not willing. To which he, then accused me of extortion, blackmail and threats. WHAT? Is this the customer service lead person? And here is the review you worked hard too earn.
