Good Points: Beautiful colour No streaks No orange appearance Noticeable within 2 days (max) Easy to apply Absorbs quickly
Bad Points: The only thing bad I can say is there is a small smell that other people seemed to notice (although not really a bad one) and after not applying for 3 days small patches started to appear on the inside of my arms (so apply regularly)
General comments: Dove Summer Glow - I had never used a fake tan of any kind before so decided to try dove summer glow as I was going on holiday and didn't want to look too pale. I am of a pale-medium skin tone but wanted a more noticeable tan so went for the medium to dark. I exfoliated my skin a little before (exfoliating gloves- 99p), moisturised 'problem areas' like my ankles, knees, elbows etc and then applied evenly to my skin. I found the cream absorbed quickly. When I woke up in the morning I had a nice sunkissed look. I was even more pleased after my next few applications (once a day). I bought this product from Bodycare for a small price of £2.99 and it is such good value for money! It looks natural and beautiful like I have just stepped off a beach, and every one of my friends have commented on my new sunkissed look, even after just one application! Don't hesitate to buy Dove summer glow, I don't think you will be disappointed.

In general it's one of the best fake tan products I would recommend if you're on a small budget. Fake tan can be quite expensive but if you're not one for spending loads of money on it this is by far the best! And if you have quite sensitive skin to fake tan this doesn't leave you with any itchy skin/rash etc!

Dove Summer Glow is a great product overall -- particularly as I purchased it for a pound from a certain well-known store - I believe the normal retail value is considerably higher!!!

I have always been too scared to use a self tanner because I have seen how ridiculous some people look. After finding this moisturiser, Dove Summer Glow, and the fact is comes on gradually I took the plunge and I find it great. Within the first day I could see the base colour coming along and it was nice and natural. The only down side like with a lot of other tanners is it can take quite some time to dry in large areas and can be bit sticky but for the price you cant go wrong! I got it on spec ...

For me, this product does what it says on the box.
I used this for about 2 weeks every day and really really noticed a natural looking tan emerging.
I had a big family BBQ to attend last weekend and wanted a nice tan to go with the dress I was going to wear. So I decided to do double layers when applying the cream - in 2 days I had a lovely tan to go with my dress!
Although this tanner does have the biscuity smell many tanners tend to have, it makes up for it in natural building tanner, and soft ...

All in all I really enjoy using this tanner. I started using it daily, all over, about a month ago. After just a couple of days I can recall noticing a distinct change in my skin colour. It really does what it says on the box! - It builds a gradual, natural looking tan. Not only does it give your skin a healthy glow, it moisturises really well too.
I'd recommend this product to anyone. - It's most definitely worth the money!

I have been using Dove Summer Glow dark to medium for 5 days now and after 3 days I could see the difference. All over even tan. Make sure you exfoliate before applying it. i used extra moisturiser on my hands, elbows, knees and ankles. I have already recommended this to my friends.

Dove Summer Glow might be great for other people, but it wasnt for me. I still have half a bottle left and I'm too afraid to touch it. I was using Dove Summer Glow last winter and found it great. I was slightly darker the day later. I have pretty olive skin as it is but wanted to go for a more darker look. Summer glow did just that.

Ok well ive used this before..over the summer and i suppose it worked well but maybe because i used it when i went outside to tan..anyways..I'm told i look orange now and i don't know if its because i use too much or what...i just started using it again 2days ago..and I'm pretty happy with it but it takes too long to dry, it makes me sticky...it comes off when i shave. I use it on my face..i think it makes me break out:(i do use proactive stuff but am afraid too now thinking it will rub off..so ...

I'm still on a quest to find the best colour from a bottle. After trying a few others with varying degrees of success, I thought it only fair to try out Dove Summer Glow.
First impressions? Nice package. Asda had it on special for £3 for 250 ml. The bottle boasted 'more moisturiser and a great tan' . All the usual hints and instructions on the back of the bottle, with an added warning that it's not suitable for 'problem skin'. [However, I had a very small patch of eczema, just where my w ...

Very pleased with this product and how quickly I could see a difference to the color of my skin, have got a couple of weddings coming up and although my arms are quite tanned, my legs are pale in comparison so I saw this product and thought I'd give it a try, very impressed and would recommend this product.

I tried the Dove Summer Glow medium/dark in place of my usual choice of Garnier Summerbody, and I was pleased I did.
I applied the product over clean and exfoliated skin. I then went to bed a few hours later, and I noticed a nice light golden tinge to my skin the next morning.
I applied it again that morning and the same night, and I was happy with the 'glow' it gave me; a lovely golden colour; not too light or dark, orangey or fake looking; just pure natural colour.
I would definitely ...

I like the Dove Summer Glow tanning product. I first used it on a Thursday morning, and then I used it again the following night. Looking at my legs on the Saturday, they look nicer than before for definite! They have more of a glow, and they aren't as white as they usually are! There is definitely a difference there already! I bought the fair to medium skin one, because I don't think I'd look right with full-on tan! Dove fair to medium skin has given me a nice summer glow!! So yeah, this produc ...

I'm extremely fair and I never ever tan, I've tried Fake Bake, St Tropez and they both take ages and ages to put on and sort out, look streaky and over orange, come off on all your clothes and hard to wash out, make bath water and shower water dark brown as well as your towels afterwards and after all that your back to your normal colour after just a few days.
I brought Dove Summer Glow, normal to dark, accidentally thinking it was a normal body moisturiser and was amazed by the results. Put it ...

I bought the Dove Summer Glow Fair to Normal Skin body lotion because my legs are practically translucent, and I wanted to be able to wear short skirts without tights in the heat, without blinding people with the sheer whiteness of my legs. The idea is you use it in place of your normal moisturiser, and after about five days you start to see a hint of a tan-like colour where you apply it. My skin is so fair that it took 2 days to start seeing some colour, which is brilliant, except the colour I ...
