I recently purchased this pistol after failing to find a webley tempest the design being similar drew my attention. After a bit of practice I was consistently getting very good groups, my only criticism is the fiddly pellet loading and I think the rear sight could be a bit better on a pistol of this price, other than that its a good buy.

This pistol would have scored a perfect "10" if Cometa had put elevation adjustable fibre optic sights on it like they used on their model 300 rifle. They are "adequate" as they are, but a bit chunky for my liking. I tested my pistol on a chrono with RWS hobby pellets and it put out a "blistering" 550 fps. This is approaching .22 rifle velocity...- Read Guest's review (70 words)

Good pistol. Well made. It is a steel and aluminium body. It is very powerul for a pistol between 5.5lb of power approx..(don't forget 6lb is the legal limit for a pistol. Not a typical design, more like an airgun than a replica pistol. Great Plinker and target gun and I am sure is powerful for close vermin control. Very overlooked ...grab one !! you will not be dissapointed.- Read finalfightguy's review (83 words)

I've had a few pistols before but none compare to this. If you are going to buy a pistol i would recommend this one. It is quite expensive but definitely worth the bucks.- Read Guest's review (92 words)

Great fun to shoot. I was "out-shooting" my friend from the same distance who had a rifle. He was not happy...!!! This was more due to him being a crap shot though as when we swapped the results were reversed. Definitely as powerful and accurate as a "low end" air rifle.- Read noodlebike's review (107 words)

Received my Cometa Indian from Airsports Direct (less than 24 hrs delivery) the other day and on opening the case I found the gun sitting in a snug foam cutout. Lifting it out of the case I realised this was a heavy gun but the unique way you cock the gun and the sure way the pellets go in with the breech action. I was soon shooting at my third yellow pages (I use Y/P's as an indoor back stop)and I found the weight helped steady my aim. It also has a double safety feature so you don't have any m ...- Read p harris's review (170 words and 8 comments)
