We had booked at The Dining Room in Brechin, because we were travelling from a distance and going to a football match on St David's Day. We did not know where we would find a good meal to set us up for a gruelling afternoon of Second Divison turmoil, and these reviews suggested this was the place to eat. It was. The match wasn't so good, but the restaurant won full points.

Stumbled upon The Dining Room cafe/restaurant by chance, and what a find! Have eaten both during the day from the extensive lunchtime menu, and at weekends from the evening menu, and the food on all occassions has been first class, but, the creme de la creme is surely the Fine Dining nights which take place about every second month, as the food is sensational. Excellent service from the husband and wife team who own it and make the time to show an interest in all their customers.

The Dining Room in Brechin, Angus is very busy with locals...always a good sign!
Fantastic food, great hosts. Superb chef.
Try the ''Ham and Haddie''Dish at lunch time...It's really good
