This is by far ine of the worst pieces of gardening equipment I have ever had the misfortune to own . After writing this review I will salvage the plug and cable and go straight down the tip with it as I believe even the scrap man wouldn't want it. The motor works fine, the weight is okay and the potential is there but the Line and spool make it a Disaster zone. Why cant the holes for the lines even go top and low sides to match the line tracks which has a top and low path. Why not simplify this. the line breaks every 10 seconds and then I have to unplug for safety and remove the spool take off the top cover and feed the 2 lines back through the holes and reattach the spool and plug the line back in for another few seconds of cutting the grass edging.... Utterly Useless . I wish I had read the reviews on here but I didn't however I am now going to before I purchase another one.

Landxcape Grass Trimmer & Edger is the worst trimmer because the line keeps finishing evey 10 seconds. Not worth the hassle.

The wg150e is a piece of junk, and no good points can be found
Having been trying to get a spool cover fo the past 6 months from Gr8spares ,but always out of stock ,to get in contact with the supplier of the product /customer services you would need to stay on the phone for days onend to get through.

I found The Landxcape Grass Strimmer & Edger WG150E is of poor quality and not worth the money, I have used mine about 6 times and found the spool cover that is made of very thin plastic wore so thin it disintegrated, and I have now been trying to aquire one for 6 months. I found the after sales service is poor to say the least.

Buying this Landxcape Garden Strimmer was a waste of money, I would never buy this product again as the line kept breaking and the spool kept coming off. I have now bought a black and decker instead and think it's true what they say: you get what you pay for.

The line on my Landxcape Grass Trimmer & Edger kept disappearing back into it's housing ,which defeats the whole point ie cutting grass, and nothing heavier as it positively baulked at nettles etc. The arm rest must have been designed with scant reference to the human anatomy. The materials used to construct the thing are flimsy and appear of poor quality. These comments are made after 45 mins of use, the cutting head having shattered.

Not worth buying, cheap and nasty in my opinion. The string kept coming off each I tried to use it, then motor went completely after I got it.

Only used this strimmer a few times and lightly, head plastic is weak. Motor seems OK but not used long enough to verify. Unfortunately haven't kept receipt.

The Landxcape Grass Trimmer & Edger is a cheap product, but not very good quality, as plastic strings that are actually cutting grass keep ripping off and they need to be assembled everytime you try to cut a slightly thicker plant than grass itself. It is not really suitable for taller grass, or if you do it, make sure you trim a little from the top and then gradually go lower to the ground as a lot of grass creates too much pressure on plastic strings and they rip off easily.

The Landxcape Grass Trimmer & Edger is heavy and too flexible in the frame. I was strimming grass and the whole revolving head came off, as the plastic collar had worn away from the splined spigot. Very irritating since I've hardly used it in the 14 months I've had it! You get what you pay for in my opinion, never again!

As with most strimmers I have owned the auto line feed is non existent. It ran through its entire line in less than 5 minutes operation over 30 minutes of disassembly and manual refeeding of line. This is a good engine powering but a rubbish line, do not buy unless you like the tedium of start/stop/disassemble/start/stop/disassemble/start ad infinitum........

Hi. I would agree with this review. My friend bought the Landxcape Grass Trimmer & Edger strimmer in question. His daughters used it first. They misplaced the instructions, and since then he has been unable to use it, as it is impossible to reload the spool with a new line.

I bought my strimmer from Argos. I took it back and got a refund stating it was unfit for purpose. If yours is still within the refund period, maybe you could do the same.

I bought my Landxcape Grass Trimmer & Edger from Argos, and I am taking it straight back and getting a brand name! The timing line keeps retracting back into the spool as it's spinning, as it does so it hits the cheap plastic housing. After 1 day this strimmer was not serviceable! You get what you pay for I guess!
