The unit is mainteneance prone.Service center in chennai, India suggest to replace oil in the pump every three months. But the manual handed over to me at the time of purchase does not indicate this. Charges are approx Rs 400/ for refill the oil.Service centers do not have trained technicians to repair the product in acceptable time frame. Service centers in chennai managed by Hi care india do not even lift the phone to attend the call. Recently the electric cord providing power to the unit… Read Full Review

Used to Aquatak Go twice only. The second time the small moulded plastic jet in the end of the lance let go and dissapeared, so it no longer has any pressure.. Looks like a replacement lance is around £35 or so.. Dont think I will be bothering after reading others reviews listing many other problems… Read Full Review

The qality of manufacture is a shocking surprise. It would seem that
Bosch has become careless about squandering away its reputation. The unit of Aquatak 100 that we bought has been very sparingly used but the pressure switch has failed and the inside of the plastic casing has crumbled and broken in some portions. Never had such experience with the several Bosch hand power tools purchased earlier over several years… Read Full Review

Just thrown my Bosch Aquatak 100 pressure washer away. Broke down just inside the 2 year warranty but I could not get to the dealer outlet in time. (Living in rural Turkey). First the pressure controlled switch broke. Opened up the cheap and tacky case and various bits of plastic packing fell out. The pressure switch had broken off. Very cheap and nasty fitting ... designed to break. I ran the washer for a couple of jobs making very sure that the valve was open and that I switched off before I… Read Full Review

I purschased the bosch aquatak 100 over 7 years ago and it has lasted until this year when the seals finally started to leak.
The pressure has been great for general removal of grime and algae from patios and paths.
The only thing that i found about this unit was that the hose to the jet lance was not as flexible as it could have been as i spent 30% of the time having to re-arrange it.
I compared this unit to others on the market and although not top of the range certainly covered most jobs… Read Full Review

Though the product specification seems to be good, the unit is made of very low quality plastic. The unit delivered to me earlier was cracked and was again replaced by a new one, which also cracked in transit. Now I suppose this to be an exactly "China product"… Read Full Review

the Bisch Aquatak 100 Compact is a neat little machine and did the job i required it for which was to clean some teak garden furniture and patio tiles. It worked for 1/2 and hour and then the outlet hose connection stripped. If this connector is a weak point on this model I would suggest a removeable adaptor union so that it can be replaced easily. As it happens the outlet connection from the control valve is integral - new control valve £34 the price of the pressure washer with free lance… Read Full Review

The Bosch Aquatak 100 Compact is lightweight and sufficient for my purposes of cleaning up an old set of hardwood garden furniture and my patio concrete slabs.
The outlet connection from the unit stripped after 1 hours use
bosch are coming to take it away and do the necessary. For the money i cant really fault this as it was marked down so much and came with a 'free' swivel lance which i dont know if i need
the dispenser bottle part i will try out on my car when i get the machine back

Bought this Bosch Aquatak 100 Compact in January 2008 and was pleased with the accessories and the unit. A bit disappointed that I had to use the brush to get the car properly clean - never having owned a pressure washer before I assumed it would be as powerful as a garage jet wash which you can use more quickly.
If you wear gloves while using it the trigger has a safety lock which gets stuck.
Then after the 4th ot 5th time I took it out the trigger broke and failed to shut off the water… Read Full Review

My Bosch Aquatak 100 Compact produces very good pressure, adjustable from high pressure jet to mild spray to clean delicate items or to rinse the car. Low water consumption, ideal tool to use if you want to save water. Good value for money, very reliable performer, better than my previous Karcher. Good Bosch after sale service… Read Full Review

The Bosch Aquatak 100 Compact has no wheels but it does have a carrying handle which is OK and the machine is relatively light. My gripe is that having been unable to use the machine last year due to the hose pipe ban, something now seems to have seized up inside and there is no water flow. Motor works - but no water jet! I only used it 4 or 5 times in the year when I bought it and it is now outside its guarantee so I will have to take it to the tip - I'm now looking for a replacement. So… Read Full Review
