“worst insurance company ever dealt with”

Very disgusting and annoying experience. I filed a claim for my iphone 6 whose screen was broken and after providing the required documents for atleast 5-6 times through mails and couriers ,the customer care executives had the same old reply ,that we haven't recieved your complete documents. When i told them that i even had the acknowledgement reciepts of the couriers which proves that the documents have been recieved in your office,they simply said that they don't have any such information. Finally they rejected my claim after a month or so.

“Dodgy replacements”

I'm absolutely speechless. My phone was stolen so I claimed on my insurance. They sent me in hoops to provide evidence of my purchase even though EE confirmed the make and model to them directly. I paid £50 excess. All the replacements I have received x3 are faulty and not in my colour choice(like for like) so now I realise the phones are not new. I'm not happy and the company don't care.

“Unbelivable Lies From an established mobile fone...”

called phone safe on Friday 29th august 2014, PUT THROUGH MY CALIM via phone call, to my surprise I was sent an email two days later asking for the exact information I spent 45 mins explaining on the phone to an advisor at my own cost. I filled out this form and proceed to call them to enquire why was I doing this again? I was asked for a £30 excess fee in which I was fine with paying... THIS IS 2 weeks later and im still waiting on a delivery, had to ask a mate to stay in almost 1 week now waiting for this 'phantom mobile delivery' BUT IT Doesn't END THERE....phoned AGAIN.... on 6TH September , WAS TOLD IT's ON SPECIAL DELIVERY LOOK OUT FOR IT SATURDAY OR Monday----nothing has been delivered , phone up again today 08/09/14 @ 41:45... was given a bogus tracking number for royal mail...... Im so fed-up .......don't ever use this insurance company , they have been taking money from my account 4 years now , and this is my first i have claimed, and the lies and incompetence of the staff is shocking disgusting. BOTTOM LINE- YOUR FONE WILL NEVER ARRIVE, IT'S ALL A SHAM TO DEBIT CASH FROM YOUR ACCOUNT....

This company has being fined 10.5 million and the ombudsman wont allow them to take on any new customers. staff lay offs and more to follow. this company might not be around for much longer.not looking good for CCP

my iphone 4s fell out of my pocket when i was getting out of the car, made a claim with cpp got a telephone call this morning to say that my claim had been accepted and that they are sending out an special delivery so that i can send them the phone once they have recieved the phone they will then credit my account with the money for a new iphone i have to say what a great service i have recieved from them i was a bit worried about the claim after reading all the reviews but in all i must say i am very happy with CPP and would recommend them to anyone

“What a joke!!!”

After speaker with an agent about a damaged phone i had and explaining i accidently dropped it when put on the side of my kitchen table i was shocked to be told that my claim wasnt being accepted as it was knocked over and the screen smashed. after being put onto a manager fro 30 mins who didnt have a clue about anything never mind how to speak to customers it was agreed i was indeed eligable and the claim accepted. on sending my h/s away after waiting 2 weeks for a prepaid envelope which should take 2 days it was then another 9 days till i received a refurbished h/s what looked worse than the 1 i had sent because mine could not be repaired. This to my astonishment disfuctioned after 3 days so was sent back . 1 week later another h/s arrived which was not the right h/s so was again sent back to only wait another 6 days for the h/s i have now to arrive. the speak is not working correctly on this 1 aswell since i have had it but im not willing to waste anymore time and effort talking to premium rate idiots

“Cpp claim....pathetic”

I have a galaxy note and dropped it without realising n it ended up getting run over :( all the screen was cracked so put a claim through my royalties gold account. Once I sent them the phone it came back within 5 days, which couldn't ask for better, it had a whole new shell and screen so was very happy. Once I started using the phone I realised the wifi no longer worked and it kept crashing so we sent the phone back t the phone clinic, it came back again with the wifi still not working, still kept crashing and a few other problems started happening. Very un happy it's now been sent back for the third time and I'm hoping its finally gunna be sorted

“Found them very good!”

I dropped my iphone 4s in the toilet before xmas and they replaced it no bother. They were very quick to respond and it all ran very smoothly!All in all, I was very impressed with their service....I have now lost that iphone so we will see how good the service is this time round..so far so good though! :)

absolutely disgraceful service, frankly meteors associations with them puts them in doubt for me to. Be very careful with cpp, they have every angle coverered.. STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I am very happy with cpp, they have done an excellent job on my phone. I have a samsung galaxy s3 and I had a cracked and shattered screen, I posted my phone of to cpp on the 19/03/13 and recieved it back on the 22/03/13 they have done a briliant job so I would deffently recommend.

Reported my iPhone stolen on Sat the 19th after contacting my mobile phone provider and the guards. I submitted the claims form Monday morning first thing and on Thursday I was informed that my claim was successful. A new phone was delivered to my workplace today the 29th. So just over a week for a new phone but to be honest I think this was a good turn around time given that I am in a different country! I was very nervous about submitting my claim after reading the reviews here, but found CPP very helpful and pleasent to deal with! Any time I called to get a progress update my call was dealt with in a friendly manner and I cant really complain about the service!

I live in Dublin and took out phone insurance for my daughters phone. Her phone fell and screen got cracked. With a lot of expensive uk phone calls and been left on hold we were told that cpp would fix phone. We received an older type phone and sent her phone of in the post to get fixed. We waited and waited but didn't receive her phone back. So we rang cpp and they said if we used the old crappy phone they gave us they cant give us back our own phone.This is totaly out rages and I plan on reporting them to the consumers rights in Ireland.

Lost my Galaxy Note 2 phone in December 2012, contacted the next day and said there was nothing they can do i am not insured!! fuming as you can imagine. So when i had time after i purchased a brand new Samsung Galaxy S3 i went to natwest to cancel my Advantage gold account that gives me this insurance included and as they wasn't willing to do anything why should i pay for it? Natwest said why you cancelling you are actually insured, so back on the phone to CCP, oh yes you are insured but unfortunately you failed to make a claim in the first 10 days and miraculously have no record of me calling to make a claim!!! how convenient!! THE EMPLOYEES ALWAYS MAKE OUT YOUR FIBBING! AVOID THIS COMPANY THAT IS MY ONLY ADVICE!!!!

The auto you reply you recieve when sending an email is a complete lie!! It says "We will reply to your correspondence within 5 working days" its now 13 days later, I cant get through to the switch board after being on hold for god knows how long on a 0870 number. I advise you get a good quality phone insurence out. I personally hope they go out of business. POOR POOR POOR

“Awful company”

Firstly they cancelled my insurance without telling me in 2011 so I lost out on a phone when mine was stolen. I got a present of a Galaxy SIII in WHITE. I stupidly reinsured with CPP and had to claim as i cracked my screen when I acxidently dropped it. I received a blue SIII as a replacement. If i wanted a blue I would have bought one. Im not sending either phone back until its sorted. Customer service is so bad Still waiting on a reply after 10 working days.was told to expect a call today. They obviously dont want theyre €600 phone back. Dont have a clue how to run a business.

“Terrible service. Claimed all my Payments back. ”

I paid card protection for 4 years on 3 cards. Tried claiming a few times and they never paid out and service was shocking. Cancelled the service after reading a report about their fine of the FSA. Asked CPP for a refund but they refused. So I googled for a CPPclaims company and found a firm dealing especially in this claim. They got me all my money back us 8% interest. Think the compa y I used was cppclaims.com

“Not All Bad - I Have No Complaints!”

I may have been one of the lucky few, but I wanted to give perspective, even credit where it's due. I can only speak about my own experience. I too have a NatWest account and it gives me free phone insurance, which when I lost my mobile, I called immediately to tell them. I found out the insurance is through CPP. I followed the instructions on the Nat West website and called the number. The girl was helpful enough. You need proof of purchase and proof of blacklisting, both of which Vodafone emailed to me within minutes of me calling them to ask for these. You then send these to a CPP email address provided on the telephone call. Granted, I had to chase after the 5 working days the auto reply told me it would take, but this was because they tried to call me on the number that I had lost. That was the only blemish in the transaction. I had given them an alternative number to call. When I phoned again on Saturday, the guy was great. Sounded like an older gentleman who couldn't be more helpful. He confirmed I have been approved, which phone I had lost, took my £25 excess over the phone and told me when I could expect delivery. Today (Tuesday) I have received my replacement phone, an iPhone 4s, which whilst delivered in plain packaging, looks to be in absolutely perfect condition. It may well be refurbished, but I can't tell. I am very satified with the service. I have written this to hopefully share a happier experience with you, as I was fearing the worst, reading these reviews. Maybe I got lucky, but I have no complaints. CPP can't be all bad..

“Shocking Service”

I have had to use these through my bank Natwest. Sent my phone in on 12/12/12 received phone back on 21/01/13, not the quickest turn around. Problem was that I sent in a Nexus 4 and got back a Samsung GT-S5570. Pile of cr*p in a nutshell worth about a quarter of the value at tops. I have spoke with Natwest who seem like they will try and clear the mess up for me. So long wait only to get a rubbish phone back. Not a helpful company and I do not understand why Natwest use them. Waiting to see if this is sorted by Natwest if not I will be looking for a new bank. :(
