After speaker with an agent about a damaged phone i had and explaining i accidently dropped it when put on the side of my kitchen table i was shocked to be told that my claim wasnt being accepted as it was knocked over and the screen smashed. after being put onto a manager fro 30 mins who didnt have a clue about anything never mind how to speak to customers it was agreed i was indeed eligable and the claim accepted. on sending my h/s away after waiting 2 weeks for a prepaid envelope which... I have a galaxy note and dropped it without realising n it ended up getting run over :( all the screen was cracked so put a claim through my royalties gold account. Once I sent them the phone it came back within 5 days, which couldn't ask for better, it had a whole new shell and screen so was very happy. Once I started using the phone I realised the wifi no longer worked and it kept crashing so we sent the phone back t the phone clinic, it came back again with the wifi still not working,... I dropped my iphone 4s in the toilet before xmas and they replaced it no bother. I am very happy with cpp, they have done an excellent job on my phone. I have a samsung galaxy s3 and I had a cracked and shattered screen, I posted my phone of to cpp on the 19/03/13 and recieved it back on the 22/03/13 they have done a briliant job so I would deffently recommend. (read more)

Reported my iPhone stolen on Sat the 19th after contacting my mobile phone provider and the guards. I submitted the claims form Monday morning first thing and on Thursday I was informed that my claim was successful. A new phone was delivered to my workplace today the 29th. So just over a week for a new phone but to be honest I think this was a good turn around time given that I am in a different country! I live in Dublin and took out phone insurance for my daughters phone. Her phone fell and screen got cracked. With a lot of expensive uk phone calls and been left on hold we were told that cpp would fix phone. We received an older type phone and sent her phone of in the post to get fixed. We waited and waited but didn't receive her phone back. Lost my Galaxy Note 2 phone in December 2012, contacted the next day and said there was nothing they can do i am not insured!! fuming as you can imagine. The auto you reply you recieve when sending an email is a complete lie!! It says "We will reply to your correspondence within 5 working days" its now 13 days later, I cant get through to the switch board after being on hold for god knows how long on a 0870 number. Firstly they cancelled my insurance without telling me in 2011 so I lost out on a phone when mine was stolen. I got a present of a Galaxy SIII in WHITE. I stupidly reinsured with CPP and had to claim as i cracked my screen when I acxidently dropped it. I received a blue SIII as a replacement. If i wanted a blue I would have bought one. I paid card protection for 4 years on 3 cards. Tried claiming a few times and they never paid out and service was shocking. Cancelled the service after reading a report about their fine of the FSA. Asked CPP for a refund but they refused. So I googled for a CPPclaims company and found a firm dealing especially in this claim. They got me all my money back us 8% interest. I may have been one of the lucky few, but I wanted to give perspective, even credit where it's due. I can only speak about my own experience. I too have a NatWest account and it gives me free phone insurance, which when I lost my mobile, I called immediately to tell them. I found out the insurance is through CPP. I have had to use these through my bank Natwest. Sent my phone in on 12/12/12 received phone back on 21/01/13, not the quickest turn around. Problem was that I sent in a Nexus 4 and got back a Samsung GT-S5570. Pile of cr*p in a nutshell worth about a quarter of the value at tops. I get my insurance through Natwest. I lost my phone and cancelled straight away with my provider and called cpp straight away to start the claim. Once I had completed my form I emailed it in and followed it with a call to insure they had received all the relevant paper work. After losing my iPhone 4S, I checked and followed all the correct procedures of the insurance policy. Orange took almost 3 months to send a simple "proof of usage" letter but once I had that my claim was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Got a new iPhone within a week which came in simple packaging but looks like its in mint condition. I dropped my iPhone and cracked the screen and back so called then to make a claim. I had insurance with phonesafe since August 2011 and been always paying their premium of 12 quid every month (which is well above most of insurances provided by banks). iPhone 5 water damaged; when I finally get a replacement it's White and not Black. CPP utterly refuse to do anything about it saying that they have replaced my phone like-for-like... It's white not BLACK... Apparently it's in the T's & C's so now I'm down £100 (excess) and stuck with a Phone I have no use for. I dropped my SGS3 and it cracked. I had my insurance via Ulster Bank. I called them, they called me back next day but I didn't answer so they left a voicemail with a wrong number and sent me an email with another wrong number (I wonder why?). Had to use this company through RBS royalties gold account. when making a claim for a moblile phone, i encounted very bad customer service where the staff put the phone down on me, ignored me and raised their voice at me. After i lost my phone at work on a saturday morning i did the usual, spent hours searching about and retracing my steps but to no avail. I called T-mobile later that evening to have the phone blocked and report it as lost. once i had done that they provided me with the details of CCP Phonesafe insurance to call them and register my claim. Dropped my S3 and ended up with a cracked screen. I am with NatWest so phoned them up, sent an email with a photo of a Vodafone receipt and they called me back the following day. Filled in a form, wrapped my phone up and sent it via recorded delivery. Phone was sent on Tuesday and I got it back repaired the following Tuesday - 5 working days. I have Natwest Gold Account mobile insurance which (I didn't know at the time) is through CPP. My iPhone just died on me on the 30th Aug so I rang CPP (through Natwest's number) the next day. They made the process to start very easy - just fill out the form and send it with the phone to a company called 'The Fone Clinic' who assess the phones. Same situation with my claim, lied about having called me, ignored all emails, dragged my claim out for 3 months telling me I had to get a form from Apple that doesn't exist, and now charging £50 excess on top of the 3 months of £15 payments I've been billed for since claiming. Useless operatives, contradictory, made things up to drag the claim out. Even ignored my letters and emails of complaint!
Without a doubt the absolute worst company I've ever dealt with. That complaints is at the top of their 'contact us' section says it all. Why any company would be affiliated with them is beyond me.

Claiming for a cracked iPhone screen would seem pretty straightforward you would think (dropping one must be a fairly typical smart phone accident). We logged the claim the day it happened, sent the handset off straight away etc. Several weeks later we chased CPP to find out they had made the decision not to process the claim as the handset had a white cover on it (cosmetic change made 12 months prior to the claim) for reasons stated as "phone damage not consistent with stated reason". The day i lost my phone i had been to the police.. blocked my phone and contacted insurance all within an hour. The insurance company told me i would have my phone within 5 working days yet I'm sat here 12 days later still with no iPhone 4s in my hand! I got this Phone Insurance as part of my Natwest Gold Advantage 'package'. I have been insured for over 4 years and submitted my first claim two weeks ago after my mobile phone was stolen. After submitting all requested documents by fax I had to call their 0845 number more than 6/7 times to have my claim processed (they always need a document in a different format). Cpp is probably the worst company ever. Not only they don't keep their promises but they try in all sort of ways not to fulfill your claim for mobile phone damage/loss or theft. The terms and conditions are very poor and if you manage to find that in fact your claim is a legitimate one, they come up with a "brilliant":"Not everything can be covered in the terms and conditions". Im not gonna sit here and write a super long review about my terrible experience with CPP Fonesafe, but what i will say is that they are con artists, and that is an understatement. They will literally cling at any straws they can get their grubby hands on to avoid paying out, and even when they do approve a claim, getting a new handset is like drawing blood from a stone. I was dreading on making my claim when I read the review site.
