Belive me,you would waste your money if you take insurance with this company.
I lost my phone and reported with in 3hours and faxed the claimform with in 5hours with all details,I received a voicemail from phone safe after 5days,then I rang back and was rejected with security bcos D.O.B was wrong on my account.I was asked to email my passport which I did ,after 3 days I called them to see the update, they said they didnt receive the email.I sent it again and agent confirmed they received it then. ...

Appalling customer service by Fonesafe Insurance. I accidentally dropped my phone and damaged the screen, which rendered the phone unusable. I tried to make a claim but was told that I was not covered as I 'hadn't taken reasonable precautions' to prevent the damage!
When I asked to speak to a manager, as I was not happy with this decision, my request was refused and I was directed to this site to make a formal complaint (which is not the correct procedure) and told that it would take 5 days to s ...

my phone was either lost or stolen.i reported to t mobile, didnt know that i had to do same thing for phone safe within 48hours.it seems you pay your hard earned money to these ripoff insurance companies, then you have to
jump through these cunningly designed hoops, then told your policy is void.i would recomend that T mobile vet the insurance companies scheming policies before passing us on to them.H smart.

I was mugged on 27th June and it has still taken this long o be addressed. Phonesafe declined my claim despite the fact that I reported it to both Phonesafe and T-Mobile within the given amount of time. I then had to work in Brighton for the following three days with no phone so was unable to contact the polica and report it to them. At no point was I informed that this also had to be done within 24 hours! I contacted them 2 days later and reported the phone. Explained this to several different ...

I have been a customer of phonsafe (Homecare Insurance) for a number of years now. I insure my sons and my daughters telephones with them.
My daughter was assaulted and had her telephone stolen on saturday night. I reported the phone to T-mobile and they put the necesary block on the phone. I could not call phonesafe (homecare Insurance) on sunday because there were not open. WIth one thing and another i.e. telephoning police making statements etc. I did not get in touch with phonesafe until Wed ...

My claim was denied because they said I hadnt reported it within the time, so they said I should ring T-Mobile which I did and T-Mobile said I had so I rang back Phonesafe and they said my claim had been closed so there wasnt anything I could do. But I have just emailed the appeals office and am hoping to get a responce shortly

My N96 screen was damaged by accident, so I immediately used my old N95. I didn't contact Phonesafe CPP within 48 hours because:
1 - Up to my eyeballs.
2 - Using my N95, so in no real hurry.
3 - Couldn't afford excess payment, so would have to wait until the end of the month anyway!

They would not process my claim because i did not contact them within 48 hours of the 'incident'. I can understand the 48 hour rule if the phone is lost or stolen, but I have the damaged phone in hand! GRRRRR ...

Phonesafe CPP wont pay out on my claim which, is for full cover, because when my 1 and a half year old dropped it in water she was with me and not my husband and the policy is in his name! Its ridiculous.

I think the time scales especially for damaged phones are very difficult to keep to. You need to read the T&C's before hand to make sure you know where you stand when making a claim.
T-mobile do not appear to communicate any of problems associated within the terms and conditions, like upgrades and different people using the phones etc and do not seem to encourage customers to read the cover so when customers ring to make a claim they have no idea why there policy wont pay out.

My partner has had his phone with Tmobile for over ten years solely for the purpose for his son to use it for. Went to make a claim and despite a previous successful claims with them knowing my son as a user they have decided that they are not going to honour it as he is not an 'REGISTERED' authorised user.

I spent the best part of an hour trying to make a claim for my daughters stolen handset. I had to call the company on three occasions only to be told a week later that my claim was denied as my daughters name is not on the policy she was only 11 years old when I took out the policy !!!

I had my mobile phone stolen from what I would consider to be a safe place on Monday. Having spoken to a fairly helpful operative at CPP then put me back on to 3 to get the IMEI number. What he forgot to say was that CPP's lines are closed at 5pm so when 3 tried to reconnect me there was no reply. I called back at 9am on Tuesday to be greeted by a very grumpy man who, as soon as I gave him my IMEI number, told me my claim was denied. He would not listen to any reasonable argument against his dec ...

It has taken over 2 weeks for my claim to be fully completed. It took 1 week for me 2 receive my claims form in the first place. Bad customer service. A few people i spoke to were helpful, others were not. I was even told the wrong information at one point. Another time, the person simply hung up on me. I found this completely unprofessional and I definately do not want to deal with this company any longer.

My son's phone was stolen but the claim was declined because I had not informed Fonesafe that my son was an 'authorized user' on my contract. When T-Mobile sold me this policy they were completely aware that the phone was for my son, yet they never pointed out this small print. I am disgusted with both Fonesafe and T-Mobile. T-Mobile should take responsibility for pointing this small print out because it must be very usual for a parent to take out the contract for a phone to be used by their ...

Just called phonesafe as put mine in the wash by accident and they told me i hadn't taken every possible precaution to avoid it. I said it was an accident Expecting a call from the manager but probably won't get one. Planning on taking this to trading standards as it is a complete joke!

My claim was denied after my phone disappeared form my office desk. Phonesafe CPP www.cpp.co.uk state that I left my phone unattended in a public place as I work in a hospital despite the fact that my office is in an 'authorised persons only' area' of the hospital and that there was other staff in the office at all times.

I took out insurance for peace of mind in the event of loss or theft of my phone, after looking closely at the terms and conditions of the policy it seems that in most instanc ...

took out insurance via 3Mobile. It was with Phonesafe CPP www.cpp.co.uk. Just rang to make a claim and was declined. i had lost the phone at home somewhere, searched all over, couldn't find it. Came across it in my freshly washed dressing gown pocket. On telling them this I was told my policy didn't cover this yet it states accidental damage and liquid damage????? I was then told I received a text message in January telling me this. Texting is a very formal way to run your business.....NOT. I di ...

Phonesafe CPP www.cpp.co.uk - I took 2 phones contracts out for my children and when one needed replacing i was that i was the policy holder and the children were not on the policy as authorised users. The phones and insurance were both taken up on the same day in the same shop for children. Ring and have your kids names put on the policy because if they were any where near it at the time the policy is void.
