I phoned orange today about my experience with The Mobile Outlet and on a positive note and they placed me on a much cheaper plan at £20 with new phone great service.

You speak to a person in India who spoke to me rude and would not speak to if you do not have a customer reference. It takes on average 10 minutes for the call to be answered and then they do not help. Rubish company.

At first was quite happy with the company-got first few cashbacks and got emails to say they've received it. it came to the last few cashbacks and they never sent it-i emailed them to ask if they received my cashback letter and even tried phoning but was on a queue of stupid amounts. Eventually got a letter saying the cashback was not going through due to some breach of cashback rules. Was told i could appeal this but its unlikely i will get anything back..even if i stop 1 person going through m ...

I had a contract with The Mobile Outlet.co.uk with cashback in three stages. I got the cash back for first two stages which was after 6th and 9th month of contract. But the third stage cashback due since september 2007 has not come and the company has stopped responding since last email in October 2007 saying that there will be 45days delay......well that was an indication that things were to go from bad to worse for this company.

So many bad points with The Mobile Outlet, cash back never come. Poor customer service,even after 8 months,so many call o87,but no cash back this is my request to another people never buy phone from mobile outlet. so many calls to 087, but still no cash back.

I bought contract in nov 07 from The Mobile Outlet and i've not received any cash back yet and seen as i've recently sent my first cash back claim recently i can see im not getting any cash back. They have never answered my calls and when I e-mail i just get their automated email response. If only i knew what was going to happen i would of never got the phone from them. Is there any way we can claim for something? Please help because i'm extremely frustrated

Have not received any cashback for 2 contracts phones we took out last year. Have phoned, e-mailed etc. On the rare occasion we did get an answer, they said (Oct 07) they would pay within 45 days. Still waiting! Will eventually cost us £840, when it should have been £0. Will not take out another contract like this again!!

I am on a contract of 1 year with Orange through Mobile Outlet. I strictly followed all Terms and Conditions, but didn't get any cashback yet for the last 9 months.

I am yet to claim my first cashback as i just received my bill for the last month. By the looks of it, I might have to say goodbye. i have read the reviews, tried to contact them and whats worse... is that their website is not there anymore!!! Are you kidding me????

Well I just checked on Google and this company has gone into administration, you probably will not get your cash back as all the other company, like mobile affiliates.
Do not ever buy cash back offer from an internet service or any other company, i would only recommend one company (Carphone Warehouse ) i have never had any complaint since last 2 years.

Despite a number of email sent to them regarding about the cash back, I only got back the auto reply. Try to call them, all the contact numbers are not working. The company did not reply or response to me at all.This is a company I will never used again and will not recommend to anyone.

I have had similar problems to everyone else trying to get my cashbacks out of The Mobile Outlet.

However, today I tried again and got swift bounce-backs saying that neither their cashback or customer service e-mail addresses were valid.
They have also changed their sales phone number to the same 0871 number as their customer care one, AND when you try this you get a poor quality recorded message asking you to stay on the line before it says goodbye and cuts you off 5 - 10 minutes later.

oh my god!! i took out my contract (12 months) in October last year, promised all my 40 month tarrif back at stupid intervals, just received first one back saying addressee has gone away!! i have phoned and e mailed, same response as everyone else, non existent phone numbers etc, what to do next? I don't know. been in contact with offcom firm, gave insolvency number to see if themobileoutlet still operating, but how does that help me get my money. Please contact if you want to participate in the recovery process; I cant see any point in continuing the contract since they obviously have no intention of paying anybody. Maybe worth approaching Vodafone (with whom the contract is placed) to see it they can put any pressure on....

I followed the strict guidelines detailed in the info supplied by the mobile outlet to claim the cashback but my claims have been ignored and so have phone calls/ emails. On the phone, if you can get through, they fob you off and I have only ever received the automated responses by email.

they tell you you will get your money in 45...35..14days..but have been waiting over 6 months now...spent more in tel bill calling their 087 number.
