Good Points: Very fast, even when fully loaded. 150BHP, 0-60 under 10secs, can beat many a hot hatch. Sport setting and ESP ensures you stay on the road. Solid car.

Bad Points: Eats tyres, front tyres and brakes - does depend on how it is driven. If driven aggressively brakes will smell of burning most journeys! Poor fuel efficiency!

General comments: Had mine from new on 55 plate, at 35,000 miles now. No issues yet. 3 new sets of front tyres and 2 new sets of brakes - had the first set under Vauxhall warranty - so get in quick if you need some and have done less than 27,000 (the cut off point).

Despite earlier review, mine is very quiet on the road. Great fun to drive (and I came from a Maserati!) ESP is very good - just don't turn it off as I did once - mad!

Get the sport mode and be prepared to surprise sports cars and hot hatches alike as your MPV pulls away from the lights! A great family car, Just be prepared to spend more time and money at the pumps!! I would buy another.

Bought this to replace my old-model 2.2 Elegance Zafira which was supremely refined.
This car is simply too NOISY!
Tyre noise is the problem - at any speed above 30mph it starts to intrude progressively until by 70mph I can just stand it and at 80mph, forget it.
I own an Astra Convertible with big tyres - it is quieter with the hood down at 100mph than this car is at 80mph.
If you look at the forums on reviewcentre.com you will see that I am not alone in this experience. I will do my best to ...
