    The expression "Each to their own" was very true when we chose to buy the Citroen C8 2.0HDi 16V 110hp Exclusive Auto!

    The C8 has been critised for the inability to fold the 2nd and 3rd row seat flat into the floor. The reason is that all 5 rear seats are full size and very comfortable! Our rear seats are in daily use so the comfort and safety to the occupant is of paramount importance. We need 4 back seats so removed the middle row2 seat, making access to row 3 very easy!

    The sliding doors are excellent and allow full access to the cabin, regardless of how close other cars park to you! This was not a factor in our purchase but will certainly be in the next MPV we buy.

    We purchased the C8 2.0HDi Executive Auto. The trim and equipment is fantastic! There are some very thoughtful touches :- Electric seats which alter position based on the keyfob used to unlock the car! Bi-Xenon headlights that really are better than standard halogen, useful storage (inc a chilled/heated section), front seats that swivel round to row 2, auto screen wipe and headlights on .... etc etc

    Some balance : In the interest of maintaining an objective review, here are a couple of things that could be better :-
    The 2.0HDi in auto form, while perfectly fine for normal use, will not please those who like rapid progress. If I could choose, I would have had the 2.2HDi but am still happy with the engine we have for general use.
    The stereo is not fantastic (a common complaint with Citroen, I believe). Its not bad, but struggles to 'fill' the large cabin space.

    I would certanly buy another C8. I will spend time looking for a 2.2HDi next time, plus one with the 3 x sunroofs.

    Overall : A really excellent MPV. Choose it if you value decent seats over the ability to hide them in the floor (just buy an estate then, surely!!)
