    Good Points: When it works, it is fast and does a good job.


    Bad Points: It frequently jams and then generally has a bad printer day and the only way to get going as far as I am aware is to download the driver


    General comments: I would not recommend this printer. I had a HP printer before, an old one and it had been pretty good before its eventual demise when it was no longer repairable (spelling?) and on this basis and the fact that I needed a printer to fit under the keyboard I chose the HP 3940 and it has been temperamental from the beginning. Overall, I do not rate it at all and feel that I will have to replace it before too long as I cannot rely on it.
