    Nice machine when it works but lets you down just when you need it. I'll be looking for reviews for a more relaible photo and general printer.
    The printer was bought in 2006 and has not been used a lot, it now won't recognise the large 26ml black ink cartdridge and keeps telling me there are ink errors. Nothing seems to cure it, its now going in the bin as a replacement is basically cheaper than a repair!!

    Overall the Canon Pixma is a nice designed printer which has proved to be unreliable. My printer lasted for 1 set of replacement cartridges and 9 to 10 months. Rather than spend money on carriage to return the printer I'll put the cash towards buying another brand.
