Good Points: Friendly community in which new players get adopted easily.
    Constant improving of the game.
Many ways to build an account, each with its own advantages and disadvantages.
Everlasting, most games are setup for rounds, aegis however is continuous.

Bad Points: Abundance of buildings and research options can make it difficult for unguided newbies. This is however unnecessary due to the helpful community.

General comments: Aegis is a game which isnt easily fitted in only one catagory. Whether you want to build a warrior province or just a peaceful province, it's all there.
At start things might look a bit overwhelming but with the right amount of activity and eagerness to learn the game this can be overcome easily, making this the best web-based browsergame there is (as long as you don't expect heavy graphics, cause there ain't any.

Excellent game, excellent adminstration, excellent fun. Can be a 10 min a day (or every week) game, or a 10+ hr a day game. The freedom within the game, to move around and meet lots and lots of new people is unbelievable. A truly outstanding gaming experience.

A quality free game with a friendly and helpful community. New management are also improving communication between players and admin to the benefit of all concerned. The turn based structure reduces the penalties for players who do not have much time to play. The world does not reset and so your progress can continue as long as you wish without having to start from scratch.

It's a turn-based game. You have the possibilities of growing, attacking and defending. All strategies have a different output but they are considered equal. The game is community-driven and you can do whatever you want if you have the brains. The game requires a lot of knowledge and it's not just click and go. The perfect province does not exist, you can aim for it however.
