Dated 15/04/2013 I would like to say that i am totally disappointed with the services of Allianz insurance company, with whom i am insured through one quote direct (broker), my claim is not being responded from last two day, i am fed up by phoning them, my claim no is BL1637432A. on Saturday a thieve have smashed my window, and then pulled out a massive part of my dash board, containing, original CD player and radio of my Toyota yaris also one more cd player that i installed 2 weeks ago.... I was with Allianz for 1 yesr, got in to a 3rd party dispute which had nothing to do with me. I heard nothing about the investigation. since left the company for new insurance in odt last year. yesterday I got a bill for £10,000 asking me to pay for a 3rd party incidant which has nothing to do with me. After having to submit a claim with Allianz I've learned that they will go through even illegal lengths to deny you. No matter how many physician forms, police reports, and other documents I had in my favor, Allianz just said "we disagree, you're denied" after all of it. Months and months of harassing doctors and lawmen for forms that all proved my claim were simply ignored and my claim was denied. Needed my car for my business. Got fully comp cover with hire car on monthly payments. Car got stolen. Got a cheque for £32 next day, they deducted outstanding installments. Wouldn't let me have a hire car because they'd settled. Tried to complain, they put phone down on me. Complained to director, he told me to complain to the person I was complaining about. My daughter-in-law had parked her car outside our house and while she was in our house a neighbour backed his car into hers. He admitted it was wholly his fault and would inform his insurance company accordingly. My daughter-in-law duly informed Allianz. You would think this would be a pretty straightforward claim. We have been with Allianz for 5 years, with very very few claims and therefore no reason to have an issue. We recently had a cat convertor stolen off a car. It took them 4 weeks to inform us that the car needed to be sent to an authorised repairer, during which time the car depreciated by more than £600. Went with Allianz as was best deal through search engines, however I had an outstanding claim which wasnt my fault from a previous accident which was still outstanding. This was since settled at 50/50 and my claim went up from £500 to over £1200 without any courtesy call whatsoever or correspondence. Didnt find this out until I saw a few payments debited from my account. THe customer service is absolutely disgraceful and I will be going to the financial ombudsman - avoid at all costs!!!!!!!!! i had this insurance from 2008 to 2009 and i when into a legal dispute so i was under the impression that i had legal protection within my cover but i found it not i was not so i went with Tradex for 2009-2010 but for this year 2011 i came back with Allianz again so i had Armed Robbery on 01/April/2011 and most of my business stock is been taken away and all they are trying to do is to find a way from their book to escape not to pay so i am in proceeding to the court action and i want to go... I made a claim to Allianz after someone stole suspension parts off my car. The car was collected by them as it was no longer driveable. I received a letter saying no parts have actually been stolen and that the parts are intact on the car! and that this is a mechanical problem and they are not going to fix it! Allianz Never use this company.
You will be throwing your money away, you might as well flush your money down the loo.
We pay £11,000.00 a year insurance to Allianz we have never made a claim on our insurance in 10 years.
They take your money and don't pay up when you make a claim. They try all the tricks in the book. I am totally convinced that they behave illegally.
Can any one out there advise us on what to do next.

Terrible experience with this company. I had an accident last year and allianz cornhill have been rude and unpleasant to deal with throughout the claim process. Awful customer service and they had the cheek to double my premium without telling me even though the accident wasn't my fault. Avoid like the plague. (read more)

Never use this company. A drink driver drove into the back of me at speed while i was waiting at traffic lights. Should have been an open and shut case but 18 months on and i'm still waiting for the claim to be settled. My claim gets passed from team to team and nobody will resolve it. Now at the point where i just want to accept my losses and move to a proper insurer though i'm certain that is what they are aiming for. Just avoid them like the plague. (read more)

Had an accident on the motorway (the other driver involved legged it) Allianz arranged a tow off the motorway (Green Flag wouldnt come out). They paid private sale value of car within my area and I received the cheque within days of accepting offer. (read more)

If you are in an accident and the car is a right off,this company only pay MARKET value on the car,not the BOOK value.The book value on my car is 2900 pound and this insurance company are only offering me 1600 pound Market value,what a rip off,would NOT recommend (read more)

Its taken over a year for them to sort out a simple cliam, The body repair shop they employed to do the works were usless in every way. I had to send my car back twice as i was unsatisfied with the quality or work undetaken. I still remain unsatisfied and now have gone to the financial ombusdman but feel its not going the way i would have hoped (Still). I had an accident on a Thursday afternoon and called Allianz Cornhill www.allianzcornhill.co.uk to report this on Friday morning. I received a callback from a repairer within an hour, the car went for repair on the Tuesday and was ready by the Friday. I was provided with a courtesy car whilst may car was in for repair. 8 days from start to finish. (read more)

You only find out how how good your insurance company is when you need to claim.
Unfortunatley Cornhill/Allianz were very poor. Customer service/claims are NOT proactive and try to fob you off with promises of call backs that didn't happen in my case. (read more)

For me, I benefited from using an independent broker that I can phone if needed, and there are no call centres which is a relief.
Allianz Cornhill will also sort out any car insurance claims should I need to make one. (read more)

This award winning company should have been awarded The comedy award, as it took Allianz Cornhill 5 months to settle our car insurance claim. I would say that is having a laugh. This is what happened when no other vehicle or persons were involved. (read more)
