    Good Points: You can phone anyone when their is signals


    Bad Points: Is when you have a emergency and there's no signals


    General comments: I love my phone but sometimes when i have a emergency and i have no signal so i have to go to a smelly pay phone but in all i think phones are cool :)

    If you are looking up phone reviews you are doing it because you care about value. Nextel charges a premium price for a far less than premium product and service. I am currently trying to drop my plan even though I am on an extremely discounted friends and family plan. The coverage area is bad where I live now, and even where coverage is good I get dropped calls and poor call quality (I have to say what and repeat myself a lot).     I anyone wants NEXTEL, you need to get very patient first and understand that you're paying a company to do nothing for you.

    The only positive thing that I can say about Nextel is their walkie talkie/Direct Connect service is good - when you can get a signal. I live in New York - major area - and often I cannot get a signal. When I visit my friend in South Carolina - no service (she's near Myrtle Beach - so not the farm land).

    I unfortunately switched to Nextel to be on the same network with someone - worst mistake I ever made. Can't wait until my contract is up to switch back.
