i had been seeking employment for a few months after being made redundant in January of this year. i decided to register with a few of the agencies in my local city as i could not find work by other means, when i read an advert in the window of the Blue Arrow office who were recruiting for a well known warehouse not far from where i lived, a very big mistake it was. i started whith blue arrow at the warehouse and things have got from bad to worse, i have been employed there now for two months and have not yet received one pay advice from blue arrow, the rep is never on site and i have encountered several problems with my wages. i had to call them constantly for two weeks to resolve the issue of not being paid and the consultant tried to fob me off with excuses whenever i called the office, in short there is a serious lack of communication amonst the office staff and professionalism is a word that i would never asocciate with these amatures. take heed of my warning, never, never be tempted to work for blue arrow under any circumstances. they will try to lie to you continually as they have tried with me.

Used Bue Arrow Cardiff when looking for new job, they were brilliant. The manager handled my application and kept me informed throughout the process. The forms I needed to fill in were not war and piece but easy to fill in, it took me 20 mins. Now working in long term temp role. Thanks Cardiff BA, you have helped me back on the job ladder!!

I went to the Blue Arrow agency on Tuesday and got a job for the following Saturday in Twickenham ( which is quiet far from the center). On the moment I felt that even if the wages was not too good, I was lucky to find a job so fast. But once I arrived in Twickenham, they put me in stand STAND BAIL with 15 others people during an hour and then told us that they actually DIDN'T HAVE ANY JOB for us.. I waste £5 for the train, a new shirt and my day because of Blue Arrow.

I spent two hours completing the forms that were required, giving details of when I was available for work and what work I was willing to do.
It seems that they do not always stick to any of this information, I say this because they have contacted to ask me to work in places that I am unable to get to, and at times that I am not available.. when work is available, they do not discuss rates of pay or the job descriptions, on every occasion I have had to contact them a number if times to find out ...

Unhelpful in my opinion. As far as I am aware they have not yet tried to contact me.
I will let people know about this experience and I do not recommend Blue Arrow to anyone looking for a recruitment agency.

I submitted my CV following a visit to the Exeter office, waited a week and heard nothing. I called the office and asked to speak to the person I had dealt with on my visit, they were not available so I left my number and was promised a call back that afternoon, no call. I waited almost another week and called again, told that the person I wanted to speak to was unavailable, left my contact details again and was promised another call back which never came. 3 weeks after first contact I called on ...

Went for an interview at Blackburn job center when they offered me the job then a week later rang to inform me that they had lost the contract but would ring again in the near future to which they did offer me 16hrs when they knew I wanted full time. I explained I had just had a interview for full time employment and was waiting to hear they then in-turn rang/wrote to my local unemployment office and a guy who I had never dealt with told them I had refused the 16hrs because I was better of on be ...

Despite the agency knowing I was waiting to hear the results of an interview for a role I was particularly keen on they never bothered to let me know I did not have the job! I had to contact them several times to find out! I was fobbed off and not once communicated with. This is only half the story but I want to make people aware that these practises are not only extremely unfair on those of us searching for work but very unprofessional. I have ensured that my friends looking for work do not use ...
