An incredible game. An absolute rock solid beat-em-up with impeccable game mechanics and a magnificent spectacle. The boss fights are fantastic and offer some of the best challenges in recent memory. This truly is a great game and an instant classic among fans of the genre. There are generally no major criticisms of the game except the constant arrary of multiple enemies at once, which becomes slightly unfair as you may be low on health or specials. Nontheless, Streets of Rage is without doubt the greatest game ever to it the Sega Mega Drive. Hopefully they will bring a major installment to consoles in the future.

streets of rage was a very very very repetitive game the only play value i could see from this title was chicks with whips in leather. by the way the guy who breathed fire was the hardest boss to beat i always use 2 specials to beat him i cant do it without them (without killing myself off at least once) GOLDEN AXE RULES this class of game
