If you're into your seafood and your in Glasgow with a few quid then this is the place to be. The restaurant is nice and lively (not so much during the week - when they keep the top floor closed) and the food is ace. The only other place that i think comes close is Brel (ashton lane) which also does a good pot of mussels, but other than that this place is it for good fresh seafood in Glasgow - I just wish I could go more oftern that I do.

I visited Mussel Inn with my partner a few months back for our anniversary. It was a lovely experience and the staff were really nice. I had the mussel plater with garlic sauce which was amazing and my partner had the scallops. The scallops were not cheap but he really enjoyed them and said they were the best he has ever had. We will keep the restrant as a treat due to seafood being quite pricey, but the experience was lovely.

The Mussel Inn, is a lovely warm little restaurant in the middle of glasgow. They serve top quality seafood, shame we had to leave!
