I purchased the umerex 850 airmagnum from pellex for just a little over £400 - including zeroing the sites and a spare co2 cartridge.

On my first outing I noticed the scope was slightly out so fixed this before taking on any live targets. The gun is light but robust. The mechanism smooth yet sturdy. Nice 8 shot cartridge. My first shot at a live target was at a male pheasant. Good head shot from 25yrd resulted in a perfect kill. The silence of the shot enabled me another shot at the group as they weren't spooked from the first shot - result; another clean kill.

I've also bagged 3 rabbits and 2 more pheasants in the 3 days I've used this gun.

My advice is; seriously check out the sites and get them zeroed right and gaurentee a head shot and you will kill rabbits and corvids, pheasants upto 25-30yrds easily. Great gun and very accurate and lethal

the pellets I used and will continue to use are aa diablo hunter .22

I got my Umarex 850 Air Magnum Hammerli Deluxe Kit
yesterday. The kit was delivered to me in Leeds Yorkshire by Pelpax Air Guns of Cromer Norfolk for the bargain delivery price of £14. Pelpax appear to be the only company with there own delivery vans and able to deliver air rifles in the uk. The kit cost a little over £300 and included the gun, silencer, quality bipod, tin of umarex pellets, simmons 3-9x50 Bore Sighter Scope, nice quality gun bag and a fresh tank of co2. The gun was ...

nice feel as a hunting gun, the umarex 850 air magnum is pretty robust.but dont like comments as being to accurate especially for live quarry, you need accuracy otherwise you could injure not kill your quarry, £70 to be repaired ,,well youv been ripped m8.if youv learned to shoot you should learn to service yourself.

My dad got a Umarex 850 Air Magnum .22 and I fell in love with it as soon as i saw it. Now I've got one too and its incredible. Mine has the walther 6x42mm scope, and I can get some brilliant groupings. I was worried when I read some reviews about it, because alot said it couldn't hunt. Rubbish. I got three rabbits on my first trip! I got .22 and found that Bisley Long Range Gold pellets work a treat. The heavier the better pelletwise.

Fast, reliable and powerful perfect for hunting. Automatic safety can be a bit irritating. Umarex 850 Air Magnum .22 is the best gun I own.

I have had Umarex 850 Air Magnum .22 gun only for a short time but I can't help be blown away by the staggering power and accuracy that the gun posseses. It has brilliant hunting capabilities and has a rough kill range of 50 yards, and in skilled hands an even greater range. I can't help however being slightly dissapointed by how it is prone to jamming. I had the gun for half an hour and had already experiance a major jam that was, in truth, quickly solved by pushing a rod down the barrel to cle ...

Very precise, powerfull and very ease to handel. You can shoot in every position with an awesome accuracy! I strongly recommend it! Awesome, everything, there are no bad points for a hobby sport shooter, i don't know how the hunting skills of an 850AM are, but i think that they are also great! Everything is perfect, the rifle, the price, there is only one problem and this is the plastic coat of the rifle. The same Material as the HK G36 has, but some don
t like and prefer wood. But there is a pa ...

I loved this gun for the first month, it was fun to shoot with the novilty of multi shot. This is a good gun if you just want to plink and not hunt. Hunting with this gun is pointless as your gas goes cold and range is effect badly. This gun is expencive to run, about £8 gas for 100 shots plus pellets. also your power drops when gas gets low. This is a fun good for the target shooter that but not for the field shooter. I would go for a sping gun, like BSA Lightning or expencive but bette ...

The rifle with a basic scope, silencer, gun bag, 2 x CO2, 500 pellets and two magazines came to just under £340. It eclipses the perfomance and appeal of the likes of the King Ratcatcher etc. for just a few more weeks of saving your pocket money.

Brought this rifle after selling my BSA Super Ten (excellant rifle) to acquire some quick funds. Found the RWS AirMagnum and thought for price it sounded good.

Wow for the price this is an excellant gun. I found this rifle easy to shoulder, has a nice black plastic stock that all through it is hollow dose not feel cheap or tacky at all. 8 shot rotary mag, easy and smooth bolt (have not had a jam in over 600 shots, as others have stated they have had- I use good quality pellets that fit well-cro ...
