My children and I have changed to Foxdenton from a different riding school and our riding has improved 10 fold...The staff and kids are friendly and make you feel most welcome...The horses are well cared for and the stables are clean and tidy..The teaching is FANTASTIC and I cant say a bad word about it... I have learned lots more in the 5 lessons I have had there than at my last place...- Read kimmycoo36's review (83 words)

Everyone on this yard at Foxdenton Farm, Rochdale, works really well together. It isn't the cleanest yard in the world but what do you expect with horses living there. The teachers are really cool and i've learnt loooooaaaaaaaaaaddddddssssssss since i started there nearly 4 years ago. i used to go to another yard and in my first week at this yard i learnt more than i had in 5 years at another stables. it's a really nice place to work and i always look forward to sundays cause i can get out of t ...- Read Rodney4eva's review (115 words)

I have been at Foxdenton Farm Riding school for nearly three years now and it has been really good they made me get used to the horses and everything, you can even learn to go out on to the road and stuff they even have a stable management that helps you get to know the horses that is great, plus it is pretty clean so all together it is the best stables I know.- Read Guest's review (96 words)

I have been at Foxdenton Farm Riding School in Rochdale for the last 12 years. It is a fantastic farm. The horses are brilliant; each and every one off them, and they are fed well and looked after, and they have a home for life, unlike some people. Once a horse is there, it's there for life. The Staff are friendly, the livery people are lovely; it's like a second home. It is a family run business, and I enjoy every minute up there.
They cater for a range of riding abilities, and there are als ...- Read natalie1986's review (118 words and 1 comment)

I previously loaned a horse for Foxdenton, and i disagree with some of the comments made, the stables were actually reasonably clean and i enjoyed my time there, although it wasn't exactly the friendliest place to be...but i personally don't think any equestrian farms are. I loved it at Foxdenton and although i didn't have lessons there i believe they are quite good. In the turnout months the horses are let out early in the morning and they make sure the horses are well before they turn them out ...- Read innocuous's review (140 words)

I keep my pony on Foxdenton, she is used on the riding school and not overworked at all. She is well looked after when I can make it to the farm. I also work for the farm at weekends and on Friday's so therefore I know for sure that all the horses are well looked after. All the instructors are fully qualified and the staff and liveries are friendly and always willing to help. All the ponies are well schooled and riders are matched with appropriate ponies. I would recommend this farm to everyone.- Read leahandbronte's review (94 words)

I have my own pony at Foxdenton Farm and the instructors are great! Claire and Anne are the best instructors you could get, so take my advice, come to this yard. Nothing about this riding school is bad. I have made a lot of friends here because it is so welcoming!- Read jadefoxdenton's review (51 words)

I have been riding at Foxdenton Farm Riding School for about 18 months, both of my children (aged 13 and 6) have been having lessons there for about a year. I cannot say enough nice things. The staff at Foxdenton are outstanding, the standard of teaching is excellent. The horses and ponies at Foxdenton Farm are well schooled and very well looked after by dedicated, knowledgeable and experienced staff.
The yard is large and well maintained, the stables are mostly brick built and in a good ...- Read Miffycat's review (143 words)

I am outraged at the comments about Foxdenton Farm. I have been riding there for over 2 years and am always impressed by the professional and friendly attitude of the teachers. All the horses are extremely well looked after and loved by all who go to the farm. The dogs and chickens are part of farm life - I'd much rather see them out having fun than being couped up. Does the writer of the original comments love animals or love orderliness? The vet visits on a regular basis, and the welfare ...- Read Jobie's review (115 words)

All the horses look really well fed and cared for at Foxdenton Farm and are certainly not like some other riding schools we have attended were the ponies have been very naughty and looked far from looked after! The facility's here are very good, the children can ride in the sun or rain without getting soaked, thanks to the large indoor arena, which thankfully has seating for us poor adults who usually have to stand freezing and getting soaked while the children ride! My children are taught by a ...- Read happy parent's review (447 words and 1 comment)

Foxdenton farm is fantastic. I have been at foxdenton farm for almost 2 years now and i help out at weekends. The yards are mainly kept clean but due to the size of the farm it can be difficult to achieve cleanliness all the time. Also i ride there and i find all the horses to be friendly, energetic and well looked after. Also all the staff are devoted to the care and wellfare of all the animals including the dogs and the goat.- Read crackerlover's review (115 words and 1 comment)

Foxdenton Farm is very messy. My friends keep their horses there. Once my friends pony was lying down the man who turns the horses out kicked him in the belly, it then got colic. There is no turnout in winter and the riding lessons are very bad because they don't teach you anything about your position- Read rtsa's review (65 words and 4 comments)
