For me, the best EVER! I have worn contact lenses for 20 years. I started with Acuvue, then Focus and then 7 years ago tried Purevision as they allowed more oxygen to the cornea. I walked out of the optician's with Purevision (same prescription) thinking I had had laser surgery to correct my eyes! They were so clear and comfortable and seven years later I still haven't needed to change my prescription - my optician can't believe how good they have been for me. However....my husband also tried them and they were not for him - his eyes were dry. So it really reinforces how important it is to have a trial and that lenses are definitely not "one type fits all".

I have worn contact lenses for over 30 years, both hard and soft. When I first put the trial pair of Purevision lenses in, I thought they had to be the most comfortable contact lenses I had ever worn. I really could not feel them in my eyes and this was definitely a first. One is a multi-focal lens and one is not. However, about 2 months later now, I am wearing glasses, which I hate, because I am experiencing my second eye infection. The first infection caused me to have to wear glasses for ...

I've been wearing contacts for almost 10 yrs and got switched to Purevision 2 yrs ago. While they were great to begin with two yrs on im not able to wear contacts at all anymore! Ive never slept with them in or even used them for more than 12 hrs at a time yet they have still completely dried out my eyes resulting in numerous infiltrates. I would not recommend this to anyone as long term affects are quite severe.

These Bausch & Lomb PureVision lenses are amazing. Don't feel them at all! Everything is so clear and bright with these lenses. Even the opticien was impressed by my new far and near sight capabilities! Could read even the smallest text. Without lenses or glasses 80% sight. With 150% sight (compared to other people of 48 years old). Much better than multi focal glasses. First time user since a week.

PureVision Toric were good at first - I wore them for about three weeks working sometimes in a dusty condition, then usually sleeping with them. Everything went smooth pretty good. Now I guess that was because my eyes were still in a good, healthy state.
Then troubles began. First, in the middle of the night one of my eyes hurt. Instead of fully awakening and taking the lens off I waited for the morning and my eye got really sore, swelled with red. I couldn't even dream of wearing the lens for a ...

Bausch & Lomb PureVision are okay for the first...um...2 hours, then dry hurting and have to be taken out at least once in an 8 hour period to clean. Will go back to bifocals before wearing another pair.

Scratchy - inscription on contacts!I have worn contacts for years but had to switch brands each time when the idiot manufacturers started to put lettering or numbers onto the contacts, like Acuvue did at one time (an "A" so that I can tell inside or out????). I can feel these imprints even if the eyecare professional insists that I can't.These are my first bifocal contacts and these Bausch & Lomb PureVision lenses also have several numbers and letters imprinted on them, and I wonder whether this ...

I dont believe the comments on this site! I am new to lenses and the Bausch & Lomb PureVision were my first test. Apart from transforming my life, I find them comfortable and delighted I can wear them for 30 days

I've worn contacts for over 20 years and my optometrist recommended these Bausch & Lomb PureVision because I've been having some trouble seeing close. I hate them! They are the most uncomfortable lenses I've ever worn. I'm going back to O2 optix. I can live with a little close blurriness.

I hate Bausch & Lomb Purevision lenses. I have worn contacts for 40 + years and most recently I wore Focus lenses, which I love. My doctor thought I should upgrade to Purevision and since that time I have not enjoyed wearing contacts. My new lenses appear to cloud up or get blurry or develop a film everytime I wear them. I can feel them on my eyes and I cannot wear them for very long.

Bausch & Lomb PureVision contact lenses are thick and scratchy. These make my eyes super red and dry. They are terrible. Before these, I hadn't had problems with contacts. I'm going to throw the remainders away and get something new, at great expense.

I have been wearing contacts for years with no problem. I decided to try these a year ago. At first I thought they were great. 1 month, Since then I have had so many eye infections since then. I didnt associate it with the contacts until the past few months. I recently wore them for one day and got a terrible infection, bad enough that the vision in my right eye has gotten so bad that i cant see print 2 feet in front of me if I cover my left eye with my glasses on. I would not recommend them to ...

Super lenses the best i have tried and believe me i have tried a lot. If you need torics try these i would be in glasses if it was not for these lenses i'm surprised by some of the negative reviews (check out other review sites most have positive reviews). I can wear these lense over 10 hrs no problem they allow more oxygen than most lenses and hardly rotate compared to others. I would strongly advise to try these lenses if you have astigmatism they are great, you can trial these for free at mos ...

These lenses are the best from all the other torics i have tried, they give much clearer vision. Very good stability, clear vision (big improvement compared to many other toics). I found that the Bausch and Lomb purevision contact lenses can become a bit uncomfortable after 5/6 hours

I've always been using the Baush and Lomb Soflens toric 66. Was given a pair of Purevision lenses for trial use. They feel terrible on my eyes. From the very first time I tried them on till now (several days of use), my eyes have been feeling dry, uncomfortable, like there's something in them. I don't sleep in them by the way. Even as I put these on in the morning, my eyes start to feel a little uncomfortable. When I put my usual lenses on, they feel a little refreshed from the added moisture.Nor ...

Purevision are the worst lenses in my opinion. They are thick and uncomfortable, making my eyes red, dry and itchy. I can only wear them for about 2 hours only and when i take them off my eyes are red and and so aching for hours that i can't stand it. I will throw away the rest lenses and i will never buy them again. I would never recommend these lenses. I am so glad i will go back to Air Optix!

PureVision felt much thicker on my eyes than my Soflens 66. I tried them for a month. I could feel them there all day long. While the Soflens I can't tell they are in. Bauch and Lomb's "better" PureVision line is not an improvement in my opinion.
