Good Points: Free site. It has at a glance ratings for all types of camcorders (2005 & 2006). I recently purchased (25/05/06) the most recent edition of What Digital Camcorder (issue 78) a UK magazine - the next issue is out 15/06/06. This latest issue doesn't even mention the New Sony HDR-HC3 but still rates its predecessor the HDR-HC1, but this website (camcorderinfo.com) has already given a full and very interesting review on the HDR-HC3. Good links to other like minded websites like easycamcoreder.com. Has links to price comparison sites. Click on the camcorder in the ratings page and you open up the full review page. Has a blog link that has up to date (I am writing this on the 26/05/06) eg yesterdays, 25/05/06, material (which includes extra info links eg PC world camcorder reviews, digital video software etc) Brilliant!!
Bad Points: Nothing
General comments: If you are looking to buy a camcorder (as I am) the Camcorder Info website is a MUST. It isn't just a website with links to other selling sites, as most sites are. I've learnt more at camcorderinfo.com than the hours I spent hunting around for info on camcorders.
You can tell I am a novice at camcorders, but if I spend hundreds of pounds on one, I will know it's what I want because I will have researched it (mainly thanks to camcorderinfo.com).
If I had just relied on other so called up to date media I would probably already have bought an inferior model. Having now read the review on the new Sony HDR-HC3 I am leaning towards this model.
Even if you are not buying a camcorder but are a camcorder holic, view this site.
