I returned a dress within eight days of purchase because is was so badly creased when I removed it from the wrapping that I anticipated more creasing if it was worn. It was, therefore, unworn, in perfect condition, still tagged with tacks still remaining in the back vent and accompanied by a receipt. I was told that I could not have a refund, but must choose something else from the store. This proved impossible: the clothes were almost all made of viscose/polyester, horrible to behold and... Will never buy from this shop again! After sales shocking, returns policy pathetic! Over priced. Had my purse stolen which had a gift card to the value of £130, explained the situation to Reiss who offered to put the card on hold but could not stop it and re issue a new one. They can put it on hold but they can not put it on stop, which to me beggars belief! Awful, awful quality and very cheap nasty fabric. I have had two items of clothing from Reiss; firstly a top that bobbled even before being washed and a pair of trousers that pulled apart as the material was so thin. Tried to take them back within 14 days, with full receipt but head office said there was no manufacturing fault. Seriously low class service, uneducated staff with no concept of the legalities of the country. Seriously if you want to spend £300 on one item of clothing then... (read more)

I recently paid £285 for a winter overcoat from Reiss in Richmond. only a few days later I decided that I would prefer something slightly shorter as I realised the new coat would be too long for driving. However, when I returned to Reiss they had no shorter coats in stock and would not allow a refund. The only thing they offered was a credit note valid for up to 2 years. It would have been nice if Reiss had a big sign at the checkout explaining their returned goods policy. I didn't... (read more)

My experience of this store has been a very negative experience. Reiss is not a shop that I normally frequent but I had been looking for a cream sweater for some time and stumbled across a lovely one at my local store. This event took place in the autumn of 2011. I first wore it for a few hours to meet a friend for lunch and when I returned home I changed my clothes, as I often do, for something more comfortable. It was then I noticed that the sweater had bobbled beyond belief! I returned... (read more)

I bought a pair of suit at the beginning of July, through REISS online. The suit costs over £200, despite it was on sale. After only wearing for one day, the suit looked shabby and crumpled. I complained to Reiss customer service: the fabric is not fit for the purpose of making a suit (cheap fabric), the suit doesn't hold its shape at all. When Reiss first started selling online, I ordered two pairs of jeans for my husband (different sizes) to chose the fitting pair. The above review is accurate in every detail. I returned a dress within eight days of purchase because is was so badly creased when I removed it from the wrapping that I anticiapted more creasing if it was worn. It was, therefore, unworn, in perfect condition, still tagged with tacks still remaining in the back vent and accompanied by a receipt. I was told that I could not have a refund, but must choose something else from the store. This proved impossible: the clothes were almost all made of viscose/polyester, horrible to behold and badly fitting. I raised the matter with Reiss customer services and they simply reiterated the Returns Policy: - there are no refunds, and there is, apparently a notice advising customers of this fact by every till and on the second sheet of every receipt. Every other reputable High Street store allows exchanges under the conditions listed above. Is Reiss solvent? It may be important to consider if it is possible to continue purchasing from a company with such poor customer service and quality.
