I purchased a cream and black silk dress from Reiss and the label proclaimed it Hand Painted Silk. After I had worn the dress I took it to the Dry Cleaners (an independent that I have used for ten years). He was not keen to clean it as he was sure the paint would come out and he proved to be right! I returned it to Reiss and was told it had to be returned to their Head Office. They rang me two days later to say they had examined it and it was definitely the fault of the dry cleaners. I asked if they would test it and was told there was no need apparently they are so experienced they could tell just by looking at it! I rang the Trafford store again and was told they had three of the same dresses returned in the last week and had rejected them all stating it was the dry cleaners fault. I found that the customer services team seemed quite rude to me. I felt they were also unhelpful and indifferent to my problem.
I definitely will not be shopping there again and would be interested to hear if anyone else has had a similar problem.

I bought a suit for £300 from Reiss. After a few months the buttons popped off, lining came away and stitching was poor. When i went to return the item they didn't refund it and sent to head office. After writing 3 letters I have still not heard back or had my item even returned back to me. Its been over 6 months with no response. I will never buy from Reiss ever again.

Good style, Reiss Shops looks good. Quality is much worse than they look like. Worn out quickly For it's price, I found the quality extremely poor. Lots of the clothes purchased require dry cleaning and I found the finish is very rough

On visiting Bristol for a weekend, I purchased a jacket from the Bristol branch of Reiss for 225.00. On arriving back to where I was staying, I unpicked the pockets as instructed by the sales assistant, and on unpicking the left pocket, it was increasingly obvious that when the jacket had been made, the pocket was not made, and anything put in that pocket would fall through to the lining.

Well, I had a pair of shoes bought for me for my birthday from Reiss. One of them fell apart, I took them back and I was told I would need a proof of purchase to get the them exchanged or money back. How can I get a proof of purchase if they were a present ??? - This is not fair and they should not be allowed to get away with it.

I bought a pair of shoes from Reiss in March, and within a month, and after being worn very little, the black lacquer coating on a decorative button on the top of one of the shoes chipped off. The shoes were otherwise in pristine condition, including the soles. I took the shoes back to Reiss, in their box with the receipt, and I requested an exchange. I consider myself to be a man who is quite good at shopping, but from my first purchase from Reiss I was mistaken. I bought a "going out" top. It was really smart, but at the same time cool, well fitted and comfortable. However, it was very expensive (around £70), but they are these days. However, I realised that 3 weeks later, it was reduced to well below £30. Therefore I come to the conclusion it is better to shop at the sales when it comes to Reiss.
