I went to Reiss and saw a dress I liked but spoke to the Salesperson about my concerns regarding the length. Also, I was not with my husband and mentioned I may need to return the dress. However, the sales advisor did not point out the policy that they would not give a refund. Apparently, they have a small sign on the desk, which again, they failed to point out. I have made a complaint regarding this and it has fallen on deaf ears. I will never purchase from reiss again nor would I recommen ...- Read Guest's review (99 words)

The most awful consumer experience ever. Top was horrendous quality and they argued with me regards its return. Minimum number of stars given as the shop does not deserve any.- Read Guest's review (30 words)

I was astonished to find all the negative reviews here. Reiss is by far my favourite shop on the high street. Things are pricey, but everyone has also commented positively on everything I have bought (about 3 dresses, 4 belts, one coat and a suit over the last year (the suit was bought today!). And I think the quality of everything has been great - especially the belts and coats. Everything is dry clean only, but I have had no discolouration, no shedding, no peeling of patent belts, no threads o ...- Read Guest's review (152 words)

while I was trying on a suit in Reiss, which was slightly to big,the saleslady who was very nice came over and explained that they would take the jacket in and shorten the trs as they are left unfinished so they can take them up, so I decided to buy the suit. When I went to pay, on top of the price (which was not cheap) I was charged an extra £45, when I asked why? I was told it was for taking up the trs, taking in the jkt and altering the waist and seat area. I was very shocked as at no p ...- Read Guest's review (164 words)

I bought an expensive nice jacket from Reiss. Two weeks later the sleeve got a funny stain. Two months later same happened to the back, the neck and the other sleeve. I went to the dry cleaner and he said the garment was discoloring, probably due to the acid in the rain. He suggested returning this jacket to the store. I did. The staff asked one another whether there had been similar problems and said no. They suggested sending the jacket to customer service and they would get in touch with me. ...- Read George Fox's review (191 words and 1 comment)

Although the design is original and elegant, I will probably not buy anything from this brand again. I bought this beautiful dress (Perine military inspired dress) for a fairly expensive price (179'), and it turns out to be of rather poor quality. The inside of the pockets is a cheap viscose. On the first day, a thread broke on the side of the dress (and it is definitely not tight). This is not something you would expect from a good purchased at this price, and I'm pretty worried about its longe ...- Read Asuka123's review (131 words)

Reiss
I have only recently started going to Reiss. It's gotten very trendy over the last few years but it has actually been in business since the 1970s. The Richmond Reiss has a big selection of mens and womens clothing. They also have nice dressing rooms which is a bonus. Their clothes are great quality but not the cheapest on the market. The style is very much city slicker, Think of it like an upmarket Zara. They have also just brought a new range of jeans called 1971 which are a much trendier ...- Read kirsty88's review (95 words)

in june i bought a cream dress from reiss which i wore for a wedding and loved it. i have since taken it to a very reputable dry cleaners who i have used for many years and have taken alot of expensive clothes to and the dress has gone a very even pale shade of pink. they dry cleaners have spoken to reioss who say no one else has had a problem, but the dry cleaners beleive the wash label is incorrect as the colour of the dress is perfect and there is definately no run of colour. if anyone else h ...- Read Guest's review (113 words)

I have bought a number of Reiss items over the last decade, but never again. The last time I bought a dress which was mislabelled and a pair of trousers which disintegrated after the first handwash and a handbag which discoloured after a week. Apparently it's due to extensive UV exposure.... here in London. What a joke! it's not even funny... I was refused refund on each occassion by very rude staff. I will never buy a single thing from Reiss ever again no matter how elegant it looks. All style ...- Read Guest's review (93 words)

I've given up buying Reiss clothes as I've bought trousers which stretched after 2 weeks, a skirt that split after 2 weeks, returns policy is appalling and their sales assistants are rude. The clothes are lovely but overpriced and the quality is not great.- Read Guest's review (42 words)

I recently purchased a bag as a gift for someone from REISS.
I asked the sales assistant about the returns policy and I was reassured that I could return the item within 14 days, at the point of sale I double checked and once again the sales assistant reassured me that if my husband didn't like the gift, I would be able to get a full refund. At which point, he folded the receipt, put it in a card and I left.
What I didn't know at the point was that I had been cheated by the sales assistant ...- Read Sh0paholic's review (143 words)

Try to get to one of their sample sales-that way you can get your hands on this higher end brand without the price tag.I think the clothes are beautiful and stylish. Yes, Reiss are overpriced but they have a lot of sales and a concession at Bicester Village which is great.- Read blondelondoner13's review (76 words)

I bought a pair of shoes in Reiss in November, the first time I wore them the cream soles on them wore away completely leaving an ugly dark cork like sole which looked terrible. I brought them back to the shop in Dublin where they examined them and then told me it was my fault because I didn't peel away the protective clear film on the bottom (I wasn't even aware there was one) but they would send them to their offices in the UK. I didn't hear anything for almost two months and then they sent m ...- Read kikidee's review (160 words)

Bought a jumper from Reiss for my husband for Christmas which shrunk on first wash. Having followed the washing instructions to the letter we returned the item to the Selfridges concession store with receipt. The jumper was sent to their customer service centre in Beckton and we received a letter from them fairly promptly informing us that we cannot have followed the washing instructions and, as they hadn't had any other jumpers returned, it must be our problem not theirs. Having now read many r ...- Read shoegirl1972's review (173 words)

Purchased a coat from Reiss on Sunday afternoon in the Market Square W1W branch. It was very quiet, maybe total of 4 customers in the whole shopfloor.
I was disappointed with the quality of customer service I received. The gentleman staff in the ladies department seemed to be giving a fashion 'workout' to one of the girls working there, and not approaching the customers, apparently shouting across the shopfloor about his 'fashion opinions'.
I picked out a jacket whilst all the staff in the ...- Read siewfong's review (310 words)

I bought a dress fromm Reiss, it was 340 euro. I wore it once and it ripped so I brought it back to the store and the staff I dealt with were very rude as i misplaced my receipe they said they would have to send it back to Head Office in England. I got no response from them either, so i went to the shop several times to see would i get a result, got the dress back and the rip was still in it. They had my dress for about 10 months it was terrible the way they treated me there but the experience i ...- Read Guest's review (117 words)

Bought a pair of boots - £250. Within two wears the heel had fallen off of one of them (whilst out - forcing me to have to buy a new pair of shoes just so I could walk home!). Tried to return them to the shop, who refused to take them as I bought them online. Emailed the online people three times without reply. Phoned up (the number the shop gave me was wrong and didn't take me through to online customer services help) and explained to someone the situation who told me to send them back to ...- Read BadBoots's review (216 words)
