    Good Points: there is no good points about this shop.


    General comments: i had never went into mk one before and my friend was wearing a pretty nice top which was from there,so i thought i'd check it out - i wish i hadnt. it was mental from the minute i walked in i didnt understand where the sizes were etc. i bought this top £38 quite nice but as i was in a hurry i thought id buy it and always return it if so. so i bought it took it home and there was sowing stitches gone wrong everywhere so i went back in the afternoon to refund it and they told me it was in the sale and i explained that they made me buy it full price and that it WASNT on the sale rack. but they still wouldnt refund it. never shopping there again.

    I like the shop mkone, as it's got great value prices. But the lay outs are horrible! I don't like it when the sales are on because they just bring out the rubbish items, and people get attracted thinking..'oooh that's cheap!'' when they see a SALE sign, but in actual fact its usually the crappy stuff they find from the stock room. Good value of money, nice staff, overall a very nice shop.

    i love this shop; i think it caters for sizes and also styles i think the childrens bit upstairs is great. i think it is well presented and has good stock connsistntly.

    i have viewed this many times by the jacket i bought which was absoulutley a perfect fitting.
    no faults at all

    service is great also !

    It's good to see a store with plus size clothing even if it's not a huge range, it's fairly cheap compared to other stores. Although i find the staff to seem fairly rude towards me each and every time I've been there, especially if I want to return something. I'm not sure if this is just in our branch (Taunton) but either way I feel their customer service is not something to be proud of.     i have bought some good clothes from the store but nothing great. i have noticed that many of the clothes i have bought were damaged . i bought a top recently in the clear stock sale i wore it for the first time on new years and while celebrating the new year the string for the sleave broke the broken arm piece had to be tied around my neck to my other arm piece witch was luckly still intacked this unfortunant event left me worrying all night for the fear of it unravalling it self

    My daughter had a top for christmas from MK One which was too small, took it back to mark one to exchange for a larger size only to be told nothing could be done as we did not have a receipt!!! even though the tags were still on and the tops were still in store. how ridiculous is this???? now we are stuck with an item that is no good to anyone!!! i will never shop in mark one again as I believe this policy needs urgently reviewing, it would of cost them nothing to do a straight swap for a larger ...

    Everything - Staff seemed rude and unhelpful to me. I bought an item but when i took it home realised it had a hole in it where the tag was. I went back to the shop to exchange it but there was nothing i wanted and the shop assistant told me that everything in the shop had a hole from the security tag. I asked if there was anything without a hole and she said no everything will have a hole.     Today in mk one I bought a £10 purple top which looked quite good on me and I think was a bargain. However looking through sophie teenswear (which I don't fit anymore but some of my friends do) some of the tops have seemingly bad messages on them, e.g. there was one about being spoiled and proud but I've forgotten what it actually said now.     The items I looked at in the shop seemed damaged by the way they poorly put their security tag on the clothes. The staff I dealt with seemed rude to me. They do not offer a refund, voucher or credit note! They will only exchange. I asked one shop assistant for her name as I wanted to make a complaint and she refused to give it to me. I will never buy anything in that shop again! I got my refund in the end though by complaining loudly to the person in charge.

    My first bad experience at MK One since they changed over, cant change without receipt even though the tags were on, found receipt buried in my bag it was 14 days to the day I bought the jeans I wanted to exchange, quibble over that got that sorted, only for them to say sorry they were in the sale they cant do anything. No refund no exchanging no nothing I couldn't believe it so I am stuck with them now.

    Changing rooms at our local branch of MK One (Walkden, Manchester) are disappointing. They appear dirty, the walls need painting and the tatty old curtains are hanging off at the top, so anyone waiting can see right in!I did mention this to a member of staff, but she just looked at me as if I was from another planet.     A few weeks ago i purchased some items from MK one, the store i was purchasing them from had no changing rooms so there was no way to try them on. I was also told that they were true to size by the person who served me at the till. I took them home, tried them on and found that one of them did not fit, and the other had a button missing.     Overall though this is in one of my top 3 clothing stores and Find it a really good store to shop in and I advise it to everyone...
    except though the store sometimes doesn't have anything hardly BUT other times has amazing nice pretty clothes!

    Mk One is such a good store!

    Have only ever been in MK One once and it will also be the last. I bought 2 nice wrap dresses and a top, once home and tried on the top it was not the right size, so therefore took it back to exchange. I was told because i had had gone 4 days over the 14 day period to exchange they could do nothing. The manager was of no help either, i explained that i wasn't local and so that was my first chance back to the shop, which fell on deaf ears too.     Two days ago I purchased a pair or white jeans from the MK One sale, size 14. I wanted a 12 but thought I will take them home and try them as I was in a hurry.     I purchased some items from MK One and asked if they didn't fit if I could have a refund and was told that I could within 14 days. I returned one item within 7 days because the waist of the dress sat above my waist. I was told no refund could be given, but if I contacted head office I could arrange to post the item to them and get a refund plus postage.     I purchased a tshirt for my daughter and was told about the new returns policy at the till I was told that you have 14 days to bring the item back (this was a sale item) the next day I took it back as my daughter had said it was too baggy around the neck she chose another item that was a £1 more to be told at the till we can not chnage any sale item unless it is faulty.
