Good Points: Great oppurtunity to see the next Oasis. All songs on the album and more were played. Just very entertaining live and a friendly atmosphere

Bad Points: Wasn't enegetic enough. I paid to much for a ticket.

General comments: When I turned down a ticket to see Arctic Monkeys last year at the London Astoria because I thought "I'll see them when they next play there" I never knew they were going to be this big so I had to see them live.
I missed out on the rush to get Arctic Monkeys tickets when they came out on general sale, so to impress my girlfriend I stooped to an all time low, I bought tickets off a tout. So that gave me a sense of guilt leading up to the gig.
    Best songs:

Riot Van- Very good starting tune and well performed with everyone singing along.

Mardy Bum- This was one of the best tracks of the night, people were even singing along to the tune of it, and it had that live performance feel to it.

Bet you look good on the dance floor- This was the song that got them were they are today, so it was inevitable that it was going to be a good one. A very special moment was the least verse were everyone jumped at the same time.

Scummy- Was interupted just before the start of it by an anonymous band. But another song that got them to number one, and the crowd went mad for it.

Certain Romance- "This one is for the town of Brixton" was the last words of Alex Turner and he couldn't be more right. They ended on Certain Romance and it was definitley the best tune to end a great night.

Only problem is the band seem to be taking after the Gallaghers and just stood there where they performed. But they couldn't pull it off like the legneds of Noel and Liam can. Probably in a few years. The atmosphere was electric just right for the band and the music. Not a riot and not at a complete stand still but lively and energetic.
The night was a complete succses for the band and I just wish I got in earlier to get the tickets for £15 and not the unspeakable amount I paid.
