okay, so I live in Australia NSW, I placed my order on the 5th April 2013, I had ordered $90 boots (I know expensive) the website clearly says 10-12 business days for there free shipping that they offer you if you spen over $50. it has been a month now and I still haven't received my boots I've probably emailed then roughly around 8 times in the past 2 weeks, an I've gotten 3 replys. the first was telling me my order had been Lost in transit an they would reship my order out as soon as... I placed an order using two promo codes. They excepted my order but cancelled it the next day due to having no stock. But when I went online the next day they had stock in again, so I thought I would give it a try.. Surprise surprise the two codes I had didnt work together. First experience with urban outfitters was bad. Shipping was stated to be 10 days. After 20 days it still hadn't arrived. Once I contacted them they said it "was lost" and asked me to re order. When I re ordered some of the items were out of stock. As it was my first order with UO I decided to forgive and forget and placed an other order. I have never written a review before, but I felt compelled to on this occasion. I am very unimpressed with UO; I ordered 5 items nearly a week ago and paid for standard delivery, they still haven't turned up. It wouldn't allow me track my order online, so I emailed them twice and had no response; then finally got through to them on the phone and they told me that they were doing a stock take last Thursday so the items won't be despatched until the following Thursday or Friday. I ordered am item online but the payment was taken out twice. I rang them up to cancel one so I don't have to pay delivery charge on it. They then said that once an order is placed you cannot amend it! Despite the fact it was their fault and not mine. So I had to pay delivery twice and two of the same item due to a problem in their system! Very angry and will never order from UO EVER again. (read more)

Dreadful online service. We've tried a couple of times to buy online. The order is taken and then sometime down the line there'll be an email saying that the order has been despatched. Then...there'll be an email saying that the item isn't in stock. But that's not as bad as UA not applying credit notes to new purchases (if they even have them in stock, which seems a rare thing). Try to get that money back and they don't answer emails. A phone call will get a response of 'it takes 28... (read more)

I have been a long-term customer of urbanoutfitters.co.uk. The dispatch and delivery has always been prompt; delivery usually takes 1-2 days with tracking info available. Whenever I have had a query they are always happy to reply to my emails within the hour of submitting it. I returned two items and received a no-fuss refund about 2 weeks later. “Faulty Jeans”

I returned a pair of Cheeky Monkey Jeans my son had purchased. The Jeans were great untill the seam frayed. We no longer had the reciept. I returned the Jeans to the Bluewater store where i was offered a exchange or refund straight away. I was really pleased with the service and would definately shop there again. (read more)

I almost exclusively buy online as I'm in Australia, but I've also been in their stores before, and I actually prefer going online as their stores' sales sections are a mess. In general their stuff is usually not worth the full price, but I absolutely love their sales. If stuff is super cheap, the quality usually is too, but I've scored some amazing stuff from there under $10 which were decent. “Urban Outfitters -- Rudest Sales Assistants on the...”

Having visited Urban Outfitters at 200 Oxford Street a few days before Christmas, I feel I have to write this review. Out of the 2 assistants serving on the top floor, one was serving a staff member for at least 20 minutes; the staff member was trying on clothes and discussing every item with the assistant serving whilst a huge queue waited to be served. I purchased a dress on line from Urban Outfitters. When it arrived it was poor quality and did not suit me. I returned it at my own expense. Despite having my parcel tracked and signed for I have not yet received a refund. I have emailed urban outfitters to ask when I might expect a refund and they have not replied. I love urban outfitters, the shop design is really funky and you always find something unexpected! The accessories are really quirky and I love the random bits and bobs - they're great for presents. The staff are always chatty and helpful.
However i do think it's very overpriced, you can tell a lot of the stuff is cheap to produce and sometimes rather tatty and badly made. I tend to buy things in the sale instead.

I ordered an item from their online store and when it arrived they had sent the wrong thing. It was tatty and still had the security tag attached, and I had to send it back at my own expense! I would never shop with them again, as there are plenty of cheaper, more pleasant online retailers with much better customer service. (read more)

I love Urban Outfitters; the problem with going in though is I always end up buying something! The layout is excellent and the displays are really eye catching and some of the clothes are beautiful.
