please don't use this vendor as they are incompetent and 90% of the offer on the side is either out of production or unavailable anyway.

they had the gall to charge me 150 pounds for a chair that is out of production, didnt respond to my emails about its delivery and when i finally called them up it took forever for someone to pick up the phone. CS operator told me i'll get a refund, we'll see if that's true, if not im going to contact OFT about this appalling company.

After 6 weeks Office Supermarket still have not delivered the furniture i ordered. I would strongly advise against using this firm, stick with a trusted retailer.

Office supermarket - Ordered a desk and pedestal c £270 - no order confirmation until I chased a few days later. Then had to chase for a delivery date - on the morning in question they telephoned to say there was a problem at the depot and no del that day - promise of further call - nothing. I'm aware of the current economic climate and some businesses are feeling the pinch but we ordered 2 filing cabinets with a delivery date that was not met! we contacted them after a "no show" of goods. They stated that the delivery company have gone into administration???. Reading the previous reports the thought of "any excuse"came to mind. took over a month for goods to arrive from office supermarket, when they did it was not the desks we ordered, when I rang up I couldnt believe I actually got to speak to somebody as my previous 20 calls wentr unanswered, I was told they not longer supplied the desk we ordered and offered me a 10% discount which I am still waiting for, I will never use these cowboys again, a horrible experience from start to finish.

Lack of service all round.

No replies to enquiries via email.

The phone was never answered.

After 2 weeks i finally managed to get hold of someone and after pressuring them for a whole day ringing every two hours, i was finally contacted by Dams International (the delivery company).

They wanted me to wait a further 5 days for delivery and aranged for the desk to be left in a laundry room which was planned to be left open for the driver round the side of the house.

I ordered two desks from Office Supermarket which they never delivered. I was told they intended delivery but this was all lies. Their excuse was that they could not park next to my building so they went away. They gave me the option to redeliver but I had to pay £40 extra. So I said I wanted my money back and they said they will discount the money for the delivery they never did!! This company is a joke!!

I got an impressive modern desk for a very competitive price. The design is very sturdy and it was easy enough to assemble. Assembly instructions were included, all parts were complete and nothing damaged.
The downside: don't believe the delivery times Office Supermarket state on their website! I first ordered the product and it stated to be delivered within 5 working days. After 6 weeks still no delivery and the friendly customer service staff could not tell me a definite delivery date. I cance ...

Office Supermarket is some of the worst customer service I have ever encountered...bad even for the UK! I was originally told that I would have my desk delivered on Saturday, the following day I was contacted and told I wouldn't get a Saturday delivery. Nice easy site to put my office together, friendly people on the phone knew what went with what and got a good deal. Would use Office Supermarket again and recommend. Don't normally write reviews but have read the last review and thought my experience was the exact opposite. I was inspired to voice my comments.

office supermarket are a joke. Furniture wasn't delivered for 6 weeks even though they said it would be 2 weeks. When it did turn up, it was missing vital parts so half of it couldn't be built. 3 weeks later and 2 attempts later we're still missing bits. There is no urgency to get problems sorted and they just tell you " we xan't deliver your missing bits until we are next in your area" which doesn't help when you've taken your office apart to get ready for the new furniture. Yes Bruv, finally found Office Supermarket to sort out after our offices flooded. next day delivery as promised turned up fine and also checked out chairsupermarket where i got 4 ergohuman mesh chairs. Sweet, my boss was well sorted. Standard!!

Office Supermarket is a nice web site. In stock next day delivery still not delivered 2 weeks later. Not terribly helpful on phone when asked why. Promises of delivery not materialised. Difficult to get through to on telephone to chase up order.

I brought a few next day desks and bits from here and they got me out of a hole from elsewhere. Product quality was good and would use again, next day delivery was well delivered and the chairs were smarter then they looked so chuffed with that.

My experience of Office Supermarket was very good in general. The guy who spoke to me on the phone was excellent and attentive and seemed to know plenty about the products (which is rare in my experience). When the product arrived it was good and came very much quicker than expected too. I ordered a 7-10 day delivery desk that came in about 4 days (the delivery driver was a little grumpier than I would have liked, however). I've no idea how usual my experience but it was certainly a positive one ...

My order arrived quickly and in perfect condition - the price wasn't bad either. I'd recommend Office Supermarket even if you're just buying furniture for your home.

I had a very pleasant experience ordering from Office Supermarket. I needed to upgrade my current office setup and quickly as I was also hiring new staff so I decided to purchase all the necessary furniture in one go. Office Supermarket gave good service. There was a bit of a delay in my desk being delivered, but it was sorted out quickly and I was kept informed of what was going on.

I ordered a load of cantilever chairs from these guys a couple of weeks back for our offices in London. Then I forgot about it, thinking that despite that website saying 24 hour delivery it would probably be about 2-150 weeks before we heard anything from them, and that we would probably have to chase them around the virtual abyss of cyber space before we saw so much as chair leg. Sorry if I sound cynical.
