    Hi, 3 weeks ago on 03.10.09 i had Lasik eye surgery in Harley st. and i have to say that all the staff was very helpful including my surgeon, very professionalthe procedure it self is painless and after it was a bit uncomfortable for around 3 hours and that was it, no painkillers needed, and after 2 days I was back at work, I just had to be very careful in first week., now is 18 days after my surgery and im telling you it is great.I think there is lots of information about procedures, but the best way is to ask in clinic doctors not to search on internet. And they talk you thru your surgery before,it is great to wake up and see properly.!!!

    I am writing a review as when i looked into eye surgery i found there were more negative than positive reviews for optical express, but was happy with the way i was treated at my initial consultation so decided to go ahead. I had the Lasik wavefront surgery in March 09. And i can honestly say it ' s the best thing i have ever done.     I had my intralase wavefront lasik surgery the day before yesterday wednesday 13th may 2009 at Optical Express Bluewater.

    The staff were lovely. The surgeon was great, and the surgical team were very supportive. Thank you to the 'nurse' who held my hand the whole way through and sorry if I hurt your fingers (I was a bit nervous) actually I was a LOT nervous!!!!

    I had my LASEK laser eye surgery at Optical Express Laser Eye Clinics Bluewater on 8/4/09 (with subsequent checks being carried out at the Lakeside branch). It was a completely painless procedure. I was warned that it would be a rough 4 days after surgery due to the protective contact lenses (bandage lenses) beginning to irritate as the eyes begin to heal, but I can truthfully say it wasn't as bad as I expected it to be.     My experience at Optical Express is one of the worst experiences I have had at an opticians. Boots leaves much to be desired but is wonderful compared to optical express. Had to take lenses back on numerous times and each time they said there was nothing wrong with them. I had to point out a fault in the lens and argue before they said they'd send them back to have them checked. They sent them back and they came back corrected.     I have been to Optical Express in Maidenhead and I will say that the staff over there is full of knowledge and respect. I have had my glasses done from there and they have given me the best service I thought of.

    Having read various review about this company, i am really not surprised to find that I am only 1 in a very long list of very unhappy customers. the shocking thing is that no one seems to be doing anything about them

    On no less than 5 occassions I have been treated with contempt and complete disinterest. Contact lenses and glasses that I have ordered have either not been correct or not been delivered. Staff have no idea about the whereabouts of my orders. HOW DO THEY KEEP ON GOING???
