Good Points: Nothing at all to distinguish them from other retailers.
Bad Points: Practically everything. They are totally incapable of resolving any issues. To give you an idea of just how bad they are, I have dealt with many of the large online retailers including those sometimes regarded as being horrible to deal with, well these other infamous stores are actually a pleasure to deal with compare to Aria and that is the honest truth.
General comments: Avoid Aria at all costs. I had a gift voucher purchased for me by my previous employer as a leaving gift.Unfortunately Aria addressed it for my employers attention and not me. The order specifically requested that it be sent to me (it was a gift voucher after all - the logic of this is probably obvious to everyone except Aria; Should I rejoin my old firm just so as I can ask my old boss to start ordering pc components!). the above in itself is not a major crime, these things happen and I wasn't overly bothered. The wheels came off when I tried to get Aria to resolve it. I rang Aria and after explaining the problem in baby steps at painstaking length the customer service representative informed me that the best solution would be for Aria to credit my account with the value of the voucher and they promised me that it would only take a few hours and that they'd ring me to confirm. Aria never did ring me nor did they credit my account with the value of the voucher. When I contacted them again via their website and via email they denied all knowledge of the matter, this was despite the fact that for their convenience I had explained the full situation in detail to them in my communications. They appear to completely ignore the fact that I actually spoke to them on the phone. After more emails and an apparent complete lack of willingness/ability to resolve the issue I sent them another polite email asking would it be best if the credit card company and Google checkout resolved the issue. Aria's response was to basically bump me out of the equation saying that my old employer would have to contact them and seek a resolution! Not once did they apologise or attempt to resolve the matter. All they actually did was bump me out of the equation when I politely asked if the credit card company and Google checkout would be better placed to resolve the matter. Now I am no further forward, Aria have wasted my timeAlso worth noting is that Aria were not a bit slow in keeping the courier charge for the voucher that was never received. Now I am left in the position where Aria won't resolve the matter for me and I will have to go back to my old boss and ask him to resolve the matter.

Before you shop at Aria I would advise you read their returns policy very carefully - there's a wapping 25% charge on any refund they don't consider to be due to faulty goods. I would also advise a visit to the technical/returns desk which is hidden away from the shop floor. Apart from the long wait, you get will get to witness first hand how 'helpful' Aria staff are when it comes to changing any item. Of the 3 transactions I witnessed here, all 3 resulted in unhappy customers. Eg 1 Graphics car ...

My order hadn't arrived when promised. I looked online and my account and the status of the order was 'processing'. I telephoned Aria PC Technology customer service, and I was told that they needed to do a security check, as my delivery address (work) was different to my home address. Why had they not telephoned to do this, as my order was on next day delivery? They dispute this, and say I only paid the extra for a pm delivery. So I paid more to have a pm delivery next week when their standard i ...

I ordered an O2 pay-as-you-go Sim card, and it was advertised as coming with 300 free texts every month and shown as in stock. I paid extra for next day delivery, but two weeks later it still hasn't arrived. Contact with Aria PC Technology Customer Services is impossible, as they never answer the phone, and e-mails are never replied to.

Have been purchasing off Aria for more than 5 years until recently when I had a string of problems receiving refunds for damaged products and getting charged restocking fees of 25% for something which they wouldn't acknowledge being there error. Two of a longer list below:-
Purchased a midi system - looked second hand, tatty box, scratched casing and non working speaker, sent this back, received another even worse all scratched hadn't been checked over, looked like a refurbished item, but was ...

I purchased a compact flash card at a really competitive price from Aria PC Technology.
It arrived 3 days later via royal mail registered post. My second purchase of a similar product (the first through an error on my part did not fit) has not arrived 10 days later. I sent an email to customer service. I was given the address when I mailed sales. No response. On contacting their sales line, the person to whom I spoke did not understand why it had not been delivered and asked me to wait until t ...
