I bought my initial pair from KG in January 2012 for £50 in a snakeskin pattern. On arrival, the design was pealing away from the fabric, areas were sown badly, the soles weren't cut to the size of the shoe and the some parts of the fabric had been stretched beyond their limitation so the pattern had ripped. brought a pair of Lorrie's (Biba) elastic buckle strap not sewn into the sole properly so came apart. when rang for a replacement pair I was told there were no more in that size available however if i would like to get them fixed KG would pay tp to £20 of the cost. I am writing this review to express my disappointment with this shop/brand's customer service. My husband gave me a Kurt Geiger gift card of 200 GBP last Christmas. I went to the shop in January and spend the whole money in shoes that I liked but one in specific they didn't have my size and I wasn't sure which size whould be the correct one, so I asked the sales person to order 2 sizes: one pair 36 and another 37. I bought a pair of boots from the online sale at approximately 3.15pm and when it came to the delivery screen, there were 4 different options: Standard delivery (3-5 days) £4, Next Day delivery (24 hours) £7, Nominated Day delivery (Mon-Fri) £7 and Saturday delivery £8. I needed the boots for a specific weekend so I chose the next day delivery, which was available with no other information available (ie, T&Cs). I am writing this review as I am extremely upset by how I was treated. My boyfriend went into the store on Christmas Eve and bought me a pair of shoes. He knew my size, which was 36. He has bought me shoes several times as we have been together for 8 years. He picked a pair of shoes and asked the lady to get him size 36. “Items ended up costing more than they should have”

Bought a mag for £4 to get a £20 free gift card as wanted some KG boots from Kurt Geiger that were in the sale for £35. There was free delivery on orders over £40 so instead of just getting boots and paying extra £4 for delivery I chose a pair of gloves in the sale for £9..I wouldnt have ordinarily paid £9 for them but figured they would end up costing a fiver as wouldnt have to pay for delivery and I would just use as an extra xmas gift for someone...total order £44. ok, they did phone me to see why I was annoyed!!! They couldnt do anything but as a good will gesture they are refunding the postage cost of 2nd order...better than nothing...they did say the terms and conditions policy on returns was abit misleading but the gift card was a gift from them in the first place so they have the right to take it back!....yes, but I paid £4 for a mag to get the gift card!! Anyone using a gift card(the elle £20 card that came with decembers Grazia mag), be warned, only use it to order online if your 100% sure that what you are ordering fits because when you return for different size the size you want may not be available by the time its all processed and its an automatic refund but you WILL lose the £20 from the gift card!

“Major Quality Issue”

I purchased a pair of Sophia Stiletto Hiker Boots for £170 last week and on the first day of wearing them to the office the heel fell off! I took them straight back and exchanged them for a new pair thinking I was unlucky but the heel fell off the second pair on the first day of wearing them too! Unbelievable! I have owned KG boots without issue in the past so I am really disappointed. Certainly not what you expect from £170 boots. I now have the inconvenience of having to return... (read more)

“kurt Geiger - overprice & bad quality - never ever”

I'll never buy Kurt Geiger shoes for a while because they are poor quality and overpriced. Last year I bought a pair boot, biker style, £160! I thought at this price they would be higher quality than average shoes. But they start leaking water and finally the heel came off just after a month! I returned the boots to the shop and they gave me a gift voucher instead. I still did not find another pair of shoes even a year later, most of their shoes are very high heel, and honestly I'm worry... (read more)

Bought a pair of Miss KG Hendrix shoes online in the sale for £39.00 (were £70.00)The quality is awful- The first thing I noticed was the T bar strap. I tried them on(once) and some of the coating on the strap started flaking off in my hand. The second was at the end of each strap, there is no finish. On a recent trip to London, I bought a pair of white wedges in the Covent Garden store. They cost 70 pounds which I consider to be rather steep for shoes that have a cork wedge and man-made uppers, but I liked the style and bought them nevertheless. I never have a problem with new shoes, but these were very uncomfortable at first (no doubt as they are made of plastic). Absolutely awful customer service! I ordered the shoes about midday and came home the next day to a delivery. Unfortunately the wrong shoes were delivered. I called customer services and they arranged for a courier to collect the incorrect pair the next day which happened fine. I then did not hear anything at all back regarding the order. Kurt Geiger shoes and boots are my absolute favourites! Of course they cost more than those in most other High Street shoes shops (apart from LK Bennett), but the quality and style are unsurpassed.
My favourites are the ones with very high heels - my favourite pairs of KG shoes and boots both have 6" heels!
I've always found the sales assistants to be extremely helpful and friendly, and very patient in helping me decide on the right style and size.
As with most things, you get what you pay...

I have four pairs of Kurt Geiger shoes, they're gorgeous and comfy.
Service at covent garden is really bad though. Sales assistants are generally intimidating and unhappy, and they wouldn't let you return full-priced items with friction marks on the bottom! They don't tell you at the point of sale, but if you try on the shoes on too much they become "unsaleable". I didn't expect that for a pair of £80 peep-toes!
Their returns policy seems rather unpredictable and arbitrary. Prices online...

Amazing service. I've bought products from the Kurt Geiger website previously and had a good service. However, I do have to say that they've excelled in the service they've provided recently. I ordered three pairs of shoes at 5.30pm and they arrived at 11 am the very next day. My Nine West shoes are amazing and moreso, the service was second to none. (read more)

Georgeous, glamorous, even relatively comfortable shoes, but I have had two pairs now and BOTH have split where the foot bends, after about three or four gentle outings. For the money I paid, I am extremely disappointed although I have to stress how beautiful these shoes are/were. The splits are only tiny, but I can see them spreading each time I wear them, so instead of hoping everyone would admire my feet I have ended up hoping they don't admire too closely. you should have still been able to return them as it was purchased on christmas eve, which would mean that you were entitled to return them because you wouldn't have tried them on until christmas day. If not, the company could have offered you an exchange or giftcard as a goodwill gesture.
