“Poor customer service ”

I had a credit limit given to spend, I ordered a few things for delivery next day. On the day of my delivery I received an email saying I needed to pay by credit/debit card as I no longer had a credit limit with them. I emailed them as I was shocked, still not heard back after 3 weeks. I think it's disgusting how they do this as it seems it happens a lot, poor customer service wouldn't recommend to anyone!!! “Only use if you want to get inundated with sales calls”

Have been inundated with sales calls from various companies who have got my number from Fashion World. All very pushy and despite me saying I am at work, will not get off the phone! Despite getting in touch with Fashion World twice, they calls still keep coming. I've now had to register with TPS to try and stop them. “Do not use Fashion World or ANY J D Williams Catalogue”

Today, I have been on the telephone with Fashion World for hours, explained that the Microwave that I brought off them last year 11 months and 2 weeks has become defunct. I explained that the front (fascia) of the microwave has fell away and is unusable. I quoted a reference that Daewoo (the manufacturer) have provided me with, to give to Fashion World to organise the immediate return of the microwave for inspection as it could be a health risk. “Cancelled orders”

I've just joined them and was given 175 initial credit , I ordered 3 items and I've just gone in to check the status and they all say cancelled next to them, so I emailed them, really confused! Are they cancelled or will they still arrive? What's your experience? Have you had to re-order and then its goe thru ok? Can you let me know my email is freerhia@yahoo.co.uk

“Excellent service!”

Been with them since November and I cannot understand the negative reviews as I have had no trouble with them. You may have to wait a few days for delivery but its always tracked so you can look online to see when it will be delivered. I pay every month and always pay a bit more than is expected and can honestly say I have been very happy with them. “Smell of Bags would gag a horse”

I wish i never sighed up for fashion worldthey gave me 150 pounds to spend then they just told me that i have to pay by credit card i am a good payer i pay on time and always pay more than i should but still keep sending me there rubish books that say that i have 150 pounds to spend i emailed them 3 times they say there get back to u in 3days but they never do rubish cheap clothes and boots that rubish quality and rubish costomer service that nerver solve the problem or get ba k to u dont shop… Read Full Review

“Appalling company. ”

Appalling company.

Would give 0 out of 5 if able to. Ordered items requesting that if order could not arrive by certain date as I was going abroad to cancel the order. The order did not arrive in time. Arrived back to the uk to find the order in my back garden. I returned the items. Later I find that I have been charged a late return fee for each item and they will not refund that amount.

They usually give you an idea when you order how long it will be. It's a bit unfair expecting them to deliver by a certain date. I have been with them a few months now and have had no trouble. Returns are picked up within a couple of days. As for leaving parcels in the garden, that is the fault of the Courier and I would complain to them. They should not have kept your money though. I would ring them and tell them you want to close your account and they will then have to refund you.

“Fashion World is great for fashion for both men and...”

Fashion World is great for fashion for both men and women and delivery is usually fairly swift. The only down side is the supply and delivery of electrical items. Most of the electrical items (if not all) are supplied direct from the manufacturers which leads to longer deliverly times and, quite frankly, a poorer level of service. Most of the problems will be outwith Fashion Worlds control but I feel they many not pay enough attention to the service being offered by the manufacturers.

Fashion World offer a good overall service, customer service is better, but again based in Manchester, along with Kays and Choice For You.

It takes a while for customer service to get it right with amendments, but they do get there.
