    General comments: I ordered a massively discounted sony dcr 505-dvd from cameras2u. Being slightly suspicious that a mistake had been made when listing the price,I contacted their customer care line.I was assured that this was the correct price,but as the goods were on back order I may have to wait up to 10 days. During the next 10 days I checked my order number online ,and rung the company on several occasions. I was promised the goods would be dispatched the coming weekend and arrive early the following week. I then rung again on the friday to make sure this was going to happen only to be informed that the stock was discontinued and I wouldn't be receiving anything. I was then offered an alternative 4 times more expensive than the one I ordered. I complained about the lack of service and communication from the company. Although having worked in customer care myself I wouldn't be surprised if after the phone went down nothing at all happened.

    I placed an order with cameras2u, after getting a recommendation from a friend.The order was for a black Nikon D40 camera kit, and the price was really low. The item was out of stock but had an expected delivery date of "soon".Well, "soon" came and went and no stock came in.     Ordered and paid extra £15 for next day delivery ... result: has not come yet.Problem: Sales operator didn't take down my flat number.Mistakes do happen but it's disappointing that problem remains unrectified when I called today to check. I'm now without a camera for new year's eve and not quite sure when it will come. Never once during my 3 calls to them did they offer an apology and at this rate I'd expect an uphill battle when it comes to delivery refund!

    I tried Cameras2U after a bad experience with a competitor. Their prices were similar, and their service was excellent. They also offered an attractive extra warranty at a reasonable price. I bought a Nikon D80 plus 18-200 lens and memory card. All delivered quickly, and well packaged.

    I have since followed up with a Slingpro AW100 camera case. Cheapest price I could find, and again excellent service.

    I bought a couple of items from cameras2u.com because the reviews were so good. I had a very different experience however. Firstly I never received a confirmation email. I emailed them regarding this which I never received a reply. I called to see what was happening and found that one of my items had shipped but the other was on back order with no time frame given for delivery.     I bought from Cameras2U as they had the best price on the camera I wanted. Online ordering was very efficient and they quickly phoned me to check/confirm the order as I had given a different delivery address to my card registered address, presumably they did this as it was my first order with them. The camera arrived next day and I was able to track it through City Link's website with the tracker number provided.

    The camera is fine, no problems so I can't comment on aftersales service. ...

    I purchased a Raynox DCR-250 Macro close-up lens, for use on a Kodak P850 digital camera from cameras2u. Not only was the service excellent, the product is as well!

    I had not used this company before, but did so based on the reviews I had read, both on Review Centre, and at other review sites, and I am very glad that I did!

    I bought the Epson Picturemate 500 photo printer, which in this case was one of the lowest I found on the net, and the next day delivery was free. Amazon had this item for the same price, but delivery was extra (for next day), and they were out of stock anyway.

    Excellent. Delightful transaction. Ordered one day, arrived the next. Bargain Price. First Class Service.

    Cameras2U even look after you when there are problems. My camera developed a fault, and they dealt with my problem immediately and to my complete satisfaction. It was a pleasure to deal with them. Highly recommended, and I will be purchasing from them again.

    Great, individual service; something a lot of the bigger online shops are missing.

    I had been very badly let down by another supplier and needed the camera I was after within 24 hours as I was going on holiday. I contacted Cameras2u to enquire if the camera I was after was in stock. It was and they confirmed that if I ordered before 1pm that it would be dispatched that day and should arrive the next. I placed the order which was a simple enough process with the usual screens and received my confirmation email. As promised the goods arrived the next day via city link.
