    Good points os Zooplus:
    * Good use of loyalty schemes-in-house and iPoints
    * Free delivery on orders of £29 or more
    * Regular special offers and free gifts
    Bad points
    * Delivers from Germany, so less environmentally friendly than ordering from a UK supplier and takes longer to arrive
    * As products are shipped from the Continent packaging differs from the UK and is written primarily in German

    Ordered a Eheim Aquatic Vacuum cleaner. After 3 weeks, the internals began making a grating noise then the item went completely kaput.
    I returned the item for a replacement, as the one sent was inherently faulty. After a month I've had no replacment. Very Very Poor Customer service.

    Electrical items use two pin plugs and adaptor supplied is giagantic and not practical when space is at a premium..from my point of view.

    Ordered of zooplus a few times over the past year and have always had a very good experience. Generally cheap prices and quick delivery.

    Ordered some dog food and a cage from Zoo Plus still not delivered, told that they dont know when cage will be delivered, asked to cancel, said i cant. They also have taken the money out of my account and in the web site says nothing taken out of your bank account before it is despatched from the warehouse. THey are based in germany and the customer service is 67p per minute and you have to either email them for a returns number or telephone them. They dont seem to reply to emails or answer the ...

    I received a badly packaged Tommy 82 T3 ferret/rat cage from Zoo Plus which was missing the 3rd tier of the cage. 3 months later and after numerous emails I eventually received the parts. Zooplus said they would give me 10% off the cost of the cage for all the inconvenience caused, this was never received. I would not recommend this company, when I had problems they seemed impossible to contact by phone and it took months before I received any reply to my emails.

    They have a customer service number quoted on their correspondence and website that doesn't appear to work, or nobody there to answer it. You can only contact them by email which seem to take forever for them to reply. I have 2 incorrectly delivered cages taking up all the space in my kitchen, following numerous emails we have twice arranged a date for these to be collected but, after having time of work waiting in for couriers, they're still sat here.

    I really got the impression that Zoo Plus was based in the UK and only after I had placed the order and something went wrong and I needed to return an item did I find out they were in Germany.

    Their contact page has a UK based number but they send all products from Germany or overseas I believe. There is so much red tape involved when something does go wrong because they are a larger company. I will not be ordering from them again and will stick to a UK small business in the future.

    This is no a UK based company and they have failed to deliver my order which was made on 13th December 2007. I have sent two account emails asking about the delivery of my replacement order but have not had a reply. The say that the goods were dispatched by DHL but DHL have no record of the tracking code that is show on the order of my account.
