never had a problem with zooplus, but the last 2 deliveries made by parcelforce and yodel are making me question whether to use them again. both delivery companies lie to get themselves of the hook. i have had to open a dispute twice with paypal, one is ongoing , because yodel have stated that they actually delivered my parcel , which is a outright lie, i have cctv to prove it. to use both of these delivery couriers zooplus are shooting themselves in the foot, and eventually it will... I ordered dog food on Saturday 23 March 2013, I received my dog food on Tuesday the 2 April 2013. Now I understand that I ordered at the weekend and took this in to consideration but the delivery time was ridiculous. I received a free gift for becoming a customer it was packaged in a box about the size of a shoebox in it...... A very small pkt of chewy sticks. This was delivered quite promptly by yodel. Hello, I have been using Zooplus for 2+ years because it is the only online cat product supplier that ships to Ireland. However, I've just decided I'm done with them and would rather pay a little extra to go to a local store than deal with the constant frustrations I've had with Zooplus. I always use zooplus for cat food as it's the best website to buy Cosma. Recently I got sent a voucher but when using it experienced an error. I emailed its customer service. To my (pleasant) surprise they responded within a few hours to apologise and gave me a new voucher code with extended validity. This is probably among the fastest customer service email response I've ever received and they resolved the issue nicely. Highly recommended! Oh btw their delivery is always super fast as well. I've used Zooplus quite a bit over the last few months and have found their service excellent. The delivery is fast and the product quality is always very good. I even recently bought some cat food they decided they didn't like recently and as a gesture of good will i was refunded in full without having to post the food back, which i later donated. I have dealt with Zooplus over a number of years but have only recently had to deal with their customer service. My order (a large one) did not arrive - but they couldn't have cared less. They said that the courier would deliver but, despite the fact that the courer did not deliver and had obviously lost the parcel, they would do nothing more. Twice I have ordered two large bags of dog food, each time they arrived packed in really strong boxes and within days of ordering. My latest order of two dog overcoats arrived just as quickley. Ordered from U.K site and had producted delivered to Spain. paid extra for delivery and invoice shows zero rated V.A.T on delivery charges. but total at bottom of invoice has charged me V.A.T on both product & Delivery. I don't understand the bad reviews of Zooplus at all. I have shopped with them for over 4 years and I find their website very cheap with very good quality products, I got a huge cat post big enough for up to 8 cats for only £69! You pay £50+ for tiny ones in pet shops. Have ordered on many occasion but our recent delivery of within the last 2 weeks is the worst - the tins and pouches were literally all thrown lose into the carton with the tins crushing the pouches. Our cats are refusing to eat food from the pouches because not only is to all mashed up but the colour of the food is unusually pale compared to what it normally looks like which would indicate that the food is unfit to eat. I had to return an unsuitable item recently and had to pay £8.80 postage charges which is a third of the value. There is no way I could have found out that this pet carrier was unsuitable other than unpacking and trying it out. Ordered my aquarium stuff on Wednesday evening and got them in Shetland on Saturday! Something that even SwellUK, a Cheshire based company cannot do! They provided me with updates all the way with tracking information. Price wise, they are fairly cheap, I think that is due to the fact that many aquarium manufacturers are Germans. yes, I have recently found out how dismissive they can be when it comes to addressing serious issues and lackings about their products. I had been a regular customer of theirs--for the last 7 years--but I now realise the zooplus staff act like regurgitating parrots/robots in responding to a legitimate complaint or even to a serious enquiry in regards to an incomplete item. I'm afraid their customer service is really going down the pan; they used to be a lot better at it. Zooplus also display misleading reviews on their website, which is frankly dishonest as well as most infuriating.
