Go to Rinaldi on a regular basis & never any problems with the food, tried many dishes on the menu & always lots of fresh fish on the specials bored.. Staff very friendly always make sure we dont need anything.. Sometimes quieter than used to be before but the service and standard has definatley improved..looking forward to our next visit.

Visited for the first time in October 09 and wont be going back again or recommending to anyone we know! The place was dead yet we got put on a table next to the desert fridge. Ordered a vegetarian lasagne, waiter came back as he forgot what was ordered. I was then presented with a beef lasagne!!! This was returned, and had to wait another 15 minutes for the correct meal at which point the person I was with had finished their meal. It wasnt worth the wait, the lasagne was mainly greasy che ...- Read Guest's review (114 words)

Having visited Rinaldi's many many times over the years but not for 12 months due to our last experience my wife and I decided to give it one more try on Bank Holiday Sunday.
Mistake. This is the last time. £56.00 for two. Starters were average, stuffed peppers and king prawns, had better elsewhere and also had cheaper. My Pizza was undercooked and very doughy and covered with a sickly tomato paste, from a tin I thought but who knows. My wife ordered rib eye steak, £17.00, medium ra ...- Read Guest's review (166 words)

We went to Rinaldi last night (05 06 09) for our wedding anniversary as we used to go on a regular basis, and really liked the restaurant. Wow what a transformation! The place was empty,we usually had to wait at least an hour to be seated, the staff out numbered the customers, the menu was basic nothing really stood out like it did before. The place was dead no atmosphere, the staff looked like they didn't want to be there. I don't think it will be long before either Gordon Ramsay is in there or t ...- Read steviej7's review (237 words)

Just to let everyone know conrad is back and the service is back to standards from the 'new menu' week. The old menu is back to the same with a few new dishes so go down and try it out again.- Read rinaldilover's review (60 words)

Always have enjoyed our time at rinaldis but not any more they have a new menu and a new chef and the food was shocking even a member of staff agreed with me when I complained! and to top it all they have put 10% service charge on everyones bill so beware! I wont be going back until they improve the food. Why they had to change good food and menu I do not no. I haven't heard a good word about it from anyone I have spoke to who has been there in the last 4 weeks.- Read Guest's review (100 words)

Overall it is amazing value and delicious food - I'd recommend it to anyone! The carbonara and bolognaise are to die for and even the house wine is excellent. On our latest visit we were a group of 5 and all had starters (try the garlic pizza breads with tomato or cheese & tomato, divine), main courses and 3 bottles of wine and it still only averaged out at £17 a head which was fantastic value!- Read pickyfoodcritic's review (103 words)

I had been informed that there were issues regarding booking tables at the Rinaldi restaurant in Wakefield, but considering we went on a week day, we assumed we would be seated without a problem. We had to wait over half an hour to get our table, which was a make shift arrangement of tables pushed together, and it was very cramped. The waiting staff and other diners regularly bumped into us as they passed.
The food was poor in general, and I will never return to this restaurant again.- Read iainnewton's review (124 words)
