Good Points: This motherboard is good value for money and very simple to install. It comes with cables, manual and driver CD. It accepts SATA drives and recognises them instantly without the need to install special drivers.
Bad Points: Floppy connector is at the side of the board and care must be taken to ensure that the wiring to the floppy drive does not foul the fan on the Nforce chip. The manual is not as well written as it could be; for example, it takes a little while to sort out the pin numbers, what goes on to them and their relationship to the physical layout of the board. The need to look at a pin layout, a pin list and pin diagram can lead to mistakes so care must be taken when installing.
General comments: In this price bracket the Elitegroup nForce4-A939 board is impressive. The bad points are minor irritations the good points make this one of the best boards in its class.
A twenty four pin power connector is recommended
