    Good Points: They were cheap!

Bad Points: I found out I was not insured!!

General comments: Took out a policy with Lancaster Insurance www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk, no claims, no hassle.
Come renewal time i forgot to renew (car garaged not bothered about it lapsing), took out a new quote over the phone, it went up from £150 to £2300 !!!
They then informed me that i had not previously declared that my car was an import - i did, i have screen shots of confused.com to prove this.
Basically if I had crashed last year I would not have been covered.

    BE VERY WARY!!

Also I felt I received bad customer service, promised ring back that day took 4 days. Advisor was rude, talked over me did not listen to what I told her.

A Review of Lancaster Insurance www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk
They are an administrative nightmare! Initially they recommended the wrong insurance company who turned out not to be applicable for my car (admitted by them as their mistake) - then they bombarded me with threatening letters which were factually incorrect. Then they withheld some of my premium refund, despite agreeing this was not supposed to happen, since it was 100% their mistake.
