I cannot praise Magnet Croydon staff enough for the help and support they gave me from start to finish on my project. Attention to detail was amazing as well as recommending finishing touches, even taking the time to pop in on their way to work to measure up to make sure that my ideal kitchen would fit in the space I had. “Appauling service”

Do not bother ordering your kitchen from Magnet at Warrington. They ordered the wrong size work top that didn't match the depth of the breakfast bar that it was going to be joined to, which resulted in me having to take time off work to drive to the store and load MY campervan up with the correct size, while my kitchen fitters were actually fitting my kitchen! “Total waste of our time”

Went to Magnet Joinery at Melton Mowbray on 3 separate occasions, each time dealing with the same designer. Plans prepared on our measurements and total job costed. New house now ready, so called today to arrange site visit to be told that the Magnet employee that dealt with us had left and we should disregard any prices, promises or arrangements made. “Thrilled to bits”

Our new Magnet kitchen not only looks as good as we expected but is, in fact better. The recommended fitter was exceptional and as he also did the required electrical circuit refit, everything ran seamlessly. He even came in over the Bank Holiday as there was so much work to fit into a week. Because we did it all under the Magnet umbrella, the planner and fitter worked together. “Worst Nightmare Ever”

Designer at Magnets planned my kitchen around building work that was to be done, assuring me he had taken into account the relevant measurements. Kitchen was delivered and mr fitter started assembling the units only to find the units didn't fit as the measurements were out by 4inches on 2 walls. Corner unit had to be modified and another 600 had to be replaced by a 300ml to enable the door to open. “Rip off merchants”

Went to Lichfield showroom on recommendation from a salesperson from Walsall Magnet Trade on 26.04.2014. On entering the showroom a salesperson asked if we wanted any help to see him. “Bad design and follow up service”

I bought a magnets kitchen from the Bristol branch. The design was a simple L shape kitchen with an island. The kitchen delivered was not the same as the plan. The designer had removed some of the feature columns and end panels from the order. The designer put a 1000mm cooker in, but only allowed for a 900mm extractor fan, which is against building regs for a gas cooker. Well were do I start ..... PRODUCT ....magnet produce there own cabinets made in Darlington 18 mm Ridged carcases, the kitchen doors are bought in from suppliers all over the world. IE ITALY, SPAIN, FRANCE. .....The units to be fair are good quality, but that's about it. The prices are WAY OVER PRICED .. the SALE PRICE you get still has about another 30% margin left in it. “Be careful!”

My oak kitchen is five years old I was happy with it until it started changing colour. Some doors are now a pinkie/orange and the rest are following suit.The local branch manager agreed there was a problem and said he would find two replacement doors as a start. “Horrendous after care”

Kitchen installation went ok however the quality of the installed tap we terrible, it wobbled an inch either way. Magnet at Leeds claim that this is acceptable however they did say they would upgrade the tap for me( at my expense) working out the difference between the old and new. It was very dissapointing to be quoted a price higher than I could buy direct from the Internet. Ripping off customers with a problem is a flawed strategy. “Poor after-service”

When Magnet fitted my kitchen - from the Kentish Town branch - I was initially happy with the result. Less happy when the fridge-freezer broke down just over a year after installation (and just out of warranty as I discovered on reading the small print: Magnet's publicised 2yr warranty only applies to the installation not the appliances ). Noted your issue with warranty..a little known eu legislation on consumables inc this item has a 3 year warranty under this eu ruling. You can quote this when going back to return the item, with or without a receipt as they by law must keep a record of all sales within the 3 year period. Quote this when enquiring and don't let them fob you off. We have returned many items WITHOUT TAKING OUT AN EXTENDED WARRANTY and businesses have no way out of replacing any item which is within 3 years of purchase. Good luck

Can I ask my whirlpool oven was brought fromagbrt with by kitchen it was bought nearly 2 yrs ago but we only installed it a yr ago the oven has now broke and whirlpool only give 12 month warrentty in it so that's gone now you mentioned above about done eu legislation of 3 yrs would that apply to my oven aswell?
