    Brought a kitchen from kitchens direct back in dec 2004 ,agreed a price ,survey was carried out in dec2004 for fitting in jan 2005.
    Kitchen .Kitchen was fitted by some polish guys worked 7.am tii 11.00 pm for 3 days.
    Gas fitter was the ptoblem ,a guy named Brain Easton dug a trench in the kitchen floor and laid pipe and filled hole in.We then a a solid oak floor laid on the concrete floor.In july 2008 the solid oak floor poped and it transpired that kitchens direct had damaged the waterproof membrain in the concrete floor.We phoned kitchend direct who came out looked at floor and admitted liability .
    We are still waiting for kitchens direct insurance company to pay out as Homeform group has gone bust and there is a £25,000 excess on the policy .
    At present my home insurance company has done the repair work a new waterproof membraine new concrete slab new kitchen new wooden floor and are now taking kitchens direct insurane company to court to recover there costs.

    Ordered a kitchen from them and met with the designer and he was great - No faults there!!

    Today the kitchen was supposed to be delivered - It hasnt come - phoned them to find out why... They have cancelled that kitchen as " they arent making enough money from it", and apparently they are allowed to do it! We are now in dipute with them over this and found out subsequently that what they have said is illegal. Not happy at all and would not recommend them!

    Fed up with them - I have been badgered by automatic telemarketing telephone (traced through 0844...number ) calls to my landline by this company for months - and now ten minutes ago by a call to my mobile (which I rarely use and not many people have my number). They can fxxk off, quickly and quietly.

    Wouldn't turn up for a booked appointment. Rubbish. I would not recommend any company that doesn't do what it says it will do - pretty fundamental, really.

    We ordered from Kitchens Direct before reading any reviews, and had we done so, we'd certainly have been put off. However, we found the service excellent - from design to installation took no more than four weeks; the designer gave us exactly what we wanted, with helpful suggestions, the surveyor likewise, and the delivery and installation teams couldn't be faulted.     We bought a kitchen from KD (13.5K) originally we were told three days for installation. After five days the fitters left having broken two of the appliances which needed replacing, and having to order goods that had been incorrectly supplied. It is now four weeks and our kitchen is still not finished.

    If you use this company you have to pay all your money on delivery. You will be appointed a Project Manager who is virtually inaccessible. You will be kept waiting on average between 7-10 min ...

    Had a kitchen fitted by KD several months ago. Initially most of the work had been done to an accceptable level but several key items were outstanding at the end of the job and the installed sink was substandard and covered in scratches due to the poor quality of the steel. Their project manager has accepted that this is unsatisfactory but am now getting the run around in terms of getting the job finished.     brought a kitchen from KD in Sept 2008, the kitchen arrived on time but some parts were damaged or the wrong size (worktops were too small), apparentely this happens a lot according to the fitter we had. The kitchen was installed as much as they could in 6 days (was originally told 4 days by the designer and surveyor) and then they left.     I can not agree more with the negatitive comments about Kitchens Direct. They messed around with us 3 times failing to turn up for a booked appointment. I took time off work twice and waisted 1 weekend waiting for them. I told them never to ring me again (as they have my mobile), but guess what, they still call me every months offering thier services.

    We purchased our kitchen from Kitchens Direct after a lengthy consultation. The installation took 8 working days and was fitted on the 6th October. We had problems with the surveyor, design and fitter, and are too lengthy to go into detail. During the inital purchase stage, we were sold a plate stacker which was discontinued, a shower tap but we apparently do not have the water pressure to justify such a tap, a towel rail (never arrived) pull out cupboard tidy (never turned up) but could not ...

    Don't waste your time with kitchens direct!

    I spent about half an hour online setting up a design appointment which they didn't keep. When I contacted the call centre after the designer failed to show, they tried to say it was us (me) that had arranged the wrong date!

    My partner then spoke to the manager of the Manchester design team who apologised but couldn't help.

    Kitchens Direct are a complete waste of time. Original design was totally wrong so had to have a re-design and a massive mark-up on price! save time and go somewhere else!

    Kitchensdirect - Possibly the biggest mistake i have ever made was to have any dealings with kitchens direct.NIGHTMARE!!!! i believe the company was once featured on the BBC programme Rogue traders,if only i had known that then.If i was to detail in writing the horrors of my experience with this bunch of crooks i would be here all day.My advice to anyone considering using this cowboy company is AVOID,AVOID,AVOID!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!

    6th June 09 - Please please read this if you are about to use Kitchens Direct. I nearly cancelled after reading the reviews on the web that state how awful they are and that they are pushy etc. I'm a mum of 8 month old twins and recently contacted KD. The guy that came to quote was genuinely nice and not at all pushy. He gave me a quote of 7k7. The manager called me several days later. I told him I would only pay 6k5 which they accepted.     Took Kitchens Direct's fitters 3 weeks to do a job, just kept making up excuses When it was done 2 weeks after one on the draws broke, still is, cant get an answer out of them.

    i cant believe that people are still using Kitchens Direct as i thought they would have gone out of business ages ago. They caught me at a vulnerable moment. I had flu, the salesman told me he was really a fashion designer, and yet I signed all the papers and paid up.I had ordered a ceramic sink, a white plastic was supplied and it took nine months to get it replaced .     Definately shop around. Our kitchen is still not completed, Kitchens Direct started on 23 February. Items not delivered, cupboards scratched and cracked. The customer care is poor.

    Kitchens Direct were excellent quality, although they weren't he cheapest, the service was outstanding, highly recommend them.

    Kitchen from Kitchens Direct was due to be completed one month ago, still not done. Workmen fitted it in 1 day. Designer and surveyor failed to notice the dishwasher was in the wrong place and wouldn't open where they put it so had to have them back to move it, when they moved it they left all the screw holes in the cabinets unfilled, the backs of my units didn't meet with the worktop (4 inch gap).     Far too many bad points with Kitchens Direct: our three day job has turned into 3 months the fitting was very poor and is still not up to standard, we have leaky taps exposed screws uneven cornice could o on and on.
