    Good Points: Low cost


    Bad Points: Delays


    General comments: We had a return trip booked with Sky Europe to Prague from London-Luton. We were delayed by 4 hours on both the legs. We had plenty of time so it didn't affect us that badly.

    In February SkyEurope has cancelled the flight Manchester-Birmingham scheduled on July 19, which I booked on January 4. On March 23-rd I asked SkyEurope for refund in the amount of EUR 137.00. On May 7-th the Reservation Agent informed me that they have processed my refund request, it was forwarded to the financial department on April 15-th and the refundable amount will be credited back to my card account within the next 4-6 weeks.     Having a family in Slovakia I used to be a frequent flyer of SkyEurope for few years till they decided to mess up my and my family's holidays few times.
    I would certainly NOT recommend to fly with SkyEurope as they are more than likely to change your flight at the last minute. Then it will take months to get your refund. I have been chasing a refund for two cancelled flights since March 2009 and still haven't received my money back!! The customer service is the worst ever. The only way to compl ...

    I have now been waiting 7 weeks for a refund for the flight Sky Europe cancelled just before we were due to fly despite several expensive phone calls. Nothing other than automated acknowledgments three times from their Complaints Department. The prices may be good at times (they were for our one previous flight) but this issue with changing times and the trouble with getting a refund after they messed us around by cancelling our flight means I won't ever be booking with them again.

    They cancelled my flights and offered rebooking my flights for free of charge.The only problem is the other flights are not convenient times,so I asked for change of destination in the same country so I could pick up my rented car(which is already paid for).But I didn't get anywhere with them.
    So now my family won't have any holiday,I will loose my car rental money and car parking money at London Luton.
    Shame on you Sky Europe

    We have booked and payed for a flight to Venice from Prague. However, two weeks before our trip, Sky Europe have advised us that our return flight has been cancelled, and gave us two options- a) take a return flight on another day or b) get a full refund. WE chose the refund option, as the dates did not suit us. At first it was quite difficult to get hold of somebody in charge of repaying our tickets, which it turns out was their financial department.     Sky Europe, the best budget European Airline I've flown with. Have to use secondary airports. On ground and in air service compares favourably with full price airlines. Bratislava Airport is a wee gem!

    This is one of the cheapest low cost in europe, ideal to discover eastern european countries such as Poland ! Good points, The prices and the destinations. Bad points, the comfort of the seat

    I was able to book flights Bratislava-Barcelona and Barcelona-Budapest in late November early December for around $16 each way with SkyEurope airlines. Plus, for every item purchased on board, I received a coupon for 50% off my next flight!
