Nice sales guy - but I was subject to the same sales approach as everyone else. Good quality windows, but very expensive. Being pressed to sign the finance agreement (with the promise of discount and a pitch along the lines of "you can make a big one-off payment with the first instalment, then leave 700 pounds for the next 7 months, at which point you have paid of the credit in full - i.e. a maximum of 110 pounds interest altogether") is suspicious.
Having reviewed other people's feedback after the sales guy left, I felt cheated & cancelled my contract.

We were luckier than most, our sales pitch lasted just two hours, but it's two hours of my life I'll never see agian!
Usual story. Knock on the door one Sunday morning, we showed interest and salesman turned up two hours later (40 minutes late). Hard sell using all the techniques in previous reviews. Quotes £8,500 for soffits and guttering, but followed up with numerous calls to his manager for more subsidies etc. Eventually they came down to £5,500 which was still too high. When he ...- Read Guest's review (214 words)

The windows are the best you can buy for the money and a an energy rated B windows and doors they are also backed up by the ACPO mark(accociation of Cheif Police Officers) Metropolitain police Force making the the most securest windows available today. If you want the best you will pay more, ie; if you want supermarket own brand beans rather than Heinz you pay for what you get cheap nasty quality? My girlfriend is amazed with them and would use the company again without an afterthought. Althoug ...- Read Guest's review (303 words)

We had Zenith Staybrite install some windows on our previous place, and it went all right, nothing exceptional, just what you would expect but late. Nevertheless those windows proved strong enough to repell a break in attempt. So on our new place, we choose to use them again.
It was a faily bigger job, including doors, windows and sash windows replacement in an old victorian house.
Obviously they were late again. The Zenith installers littterally destroyed the old frames and panels, when we'd be ...- Read Guest's review (264 words)

I've had a few properties renovated over the years and have used Zenith on the most recent when they replaced all my sofits, facias and guttering. I found them to be the most expensive, but they do replace eveything, whereas other local companies have replaced only the worst bits and patched up the rest. So if you're just looking to make your property look "nice" before selling, probably best to go somewhere else. If you've got the money and are staying put, I would recommend them. However, st ...- Read Guest's review (104 words)

Zenith Staybrite Windows didnt inform us at quote time that if you use their lifestyle account (finance with hitachi) that the interest starts from the day you sign the agreement (that day) not the day your installation is complete. I had to chase my order and there were a lot of 'mix ups'. Installers arrived and fitted window but had to come back as hadnt been informed that couldnt access one. Hing on window broke two days later. Wrong finace agreement was activated (more than quoted). Had ...- Read Guest's review (153 words)

Zenith Staybrite Windows sales guy was here for nearly 3 hours, didnt speak for the first just sort of watched the f1 on my tele. Then showed me a dvd which looked like it had been shot on a mobile phone. Then went and measured up my guttering etc. Came out with a silly price of 4000 pound, really for 5mtrs of guttering, when i told him no i was offered subsideries etc , kept tellin him i wasnt interested, he then made phone calls etc. told him again not interested, then i got annoyed and had to ...- Read Guest's review (119 words)

Well where to start, pretty much the same story as everyone else has about living in a good area & kept banging on about what a good corner plot we are on which would generate hundreds of sales blah blah.
First Zenith Staybrite Windows quoted for 7 windows, front door & patio doors totalling £18,000 phew you've got no chance we said, ahh but there are reductions I can give you, (having board up, taking out finance & various other things) and after a few so called calls got it down to &p ...- Read scully69's review (564 words)

On Sunday 21st June 2009, I was subjected to a 4 hour sales pitch (same routine as all the other victims. A high price, finally reduced down, after phoning his manager IF I signed up that night). Eventually I signed up for 12 units. I also signed credit agreements that I did not need - I wanted to pay cash. The salesman promised me that if I changed my mind, I could phone him the next day & the forms would be shredded. As soon as he left, I felt that I had been brow beaten into making the decision ...- Read Guest's review (595 words)

Oh my Lord, why did'nt I find this board before inviting Zenith into my home?
Like everyone else, I expected a bit of a hard sell, but 3 hours was just pushing it. I told the guy I needed to cook dinner for my 90 year old mum, did he leave? NO.
Anyway, long story short, I ended up signing the contract for 2 windows, then found this site.
Now I have 5 days left to cancel. I have sent 2 emails, which it states I can do, I have also signed the contract and stated that I wish to cancel and will r ...- Read cassie22's review (138 words and 1 comment)

Window installed 2006 (tiles broken around the window which I replaced at my cost).
Within months the window sill had cracked. Zenith after about 10 phone calls sent a surveyor end 2007. Then a window fitter a few months later after many more phone calls. Window fixed (again damaged tiling broken which I replaced at my cost). After a further 8 months the window sill cracked again. Another 10 phone calls at least followed by a surveyor followed by many more phone calls chasing a fitter visi ...- Read Guest's review (146 words)

I bought them over 5 years ago. We have had them out on a number of occasions - not due to faulty workmanship but just due to wear and tear on parts - Cat flap accidently broken by my sisters 2 year old, front door lock started getting a bit stiff to lock, over zealous postman, etc. On every occasion Zenith Staybrite Windows have been fast and repaired without hastle.- Read Guest's review (108 words)

I inherited Zenith windows at the front of my house - a bay and two smaller bedroom windows which were newly fitted. I decided to go with them for three windows at the back and to have the guarantee transferred. I never received the guarantee for any of the windows. I now need two doors and have been getting quotes. A number of salesmen commented on my discoloured windows so I contacted Zenith and they came to give a quote for the two doors. They said the windows were not discoloured, just ...- Read efmcandrew's review (186 words)

i inherited zenith windows and doors from the previous owner, personally i can't stand upvc. i had the warranty passed on to me and was impressed when their repair man came and fixed the front door locks which were suferring due to wear and tear at almost the end of the 10 year warranty period. i was not impressed by the strength of the front door which apparently cost £1000 10 years ago but was recently kicked in by a burglar, it turns out the central panel was totally unreinforced and s ...- Read jmark's review (147 words)
