    Good Points: The Slopes and Lifts and the resort in general


    Bad Points: Neilson Reps, the allegedly heated outdoor pool, L'ours blanc accomodation


    General comments: I must admit this was a fun holiday to Alpe d'Huez, Le Pic Blanc, overall in terms of the snow boarding, although this was no thanks to our Neilson Rep - I would not book another holiday via them. The rep didnt even see us into our accommodation, and only came to see us once during our week stay, half way through our stay to try and get us to come on a pub crawl! When we raised some queries and concerns we had we were just dismissed. We were also misled as we were told that the swimming pools were inlcuded with our passes which wasnt the case.
    Accomodation was ok - L'ours blancs apartments, and in all fairness again, biggest problem was probably that it was somewhat misrepresented by Neilson and there was no rep to hand to assist us. Tip to all even though they say apartments sleep 7, unless you want to sleep like sardines dont believe them!
    The resort itself is beautiful, and plenty of gondala's and bubble lifts which is great for us boarders who cant cope with the thought of button lifts! I would definately go back - just not with Neilson!

    Chalet Ferme la Marie, Alpe d'Huez, with Crystal. The blurb should include info about the very steep and narrow spiral staircase to the second floor, especially as this chalet is advertised as good for families and this is a definite potential hazard.
    Excellent chalet with fantastic chalet host.Brilliant family holiday in an excellent location.

    We stayed at the Le Pic Blanc hotel and couldn't fault it the rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were really helpful and even suggested restaurants to eat at. There is also an excellent indoor pool, very clean and warm.

    The location was superb with everything just a short walk away, we enjoyed out stay here and would return again!!!
