We holiday to Great Yarmouth every year and always visit the Pleasurebeach atleast a couple of time during our holiday. It has always been a good fair for kids, kids love it. It is slightly expensive but then what isn't these days. On my most recent visit though (yesterday Aug 23rd 2009) I was extremely disappointed by the service recieved when getting food. I went to the restaurant by the dodgems (carvery at front, up a few steps to fish+chips etc.), I ordered "Fish+Chips", after waiting an eternity I was eventually presented with a plate that contained a small fish, a couple of chips, AND half a plateful of peas and rabbit food (I refer to it as that because I have no idea what it was but that is what it resembled, it certainly wasn't fit for consumption). I was furious, so went to complain, I expected an apology and my correct meal, but instead I was met with rudeness . They brought me what should've been my correct meal afterwards but it was just the same food scraped onto a fresh plate, it still tasted of the unwated food and I couldn't eat it. I wasted money and recieved awful customer service, I order "fish+chips" and that's what I should've recieved, if I had wanted the crap I was served I would've asked for "fish, chips, peas + rabbit food". I emailed the PleasureBeach and credit to them I recieved a near instant reply saying that the food outlet is not actually operated by them and they are not responsible for the staff there, so in fairness to the PleasureBeach my complaint isn't really with them and they have shown much much better customer service than that of the food outlet, however it is within the grounds of the PleasureBeach and it spoilt the visit for me, I would urge everyone going to the PleasureBeach to give this outlet a miss, opt for getting your food and refreshments elsewhere or bring them with you.

Blackpool pleasure beach is a really good fun day out. Top rides I thought were Vahalla and Infusion. Two rides were shut but they weren't white knuckle rides though so I wasn't that bothered. Also went the tower for a day, thats a great day out. The circus was brill, so worth the money. Went the sealife centre, that was good. Went the waxworks, was really impressed so much better than when I went a couple years ago, was really impressed with the movies part of the waxworks. Also went play pirat ...

Great Yarmouth is a extremely enjoyable day out for all the family. It is home to a number of rides for all ages, but for you insane thrill seekers out there, maybe not the park for you.

Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach is a great place to spend the day, Standard Wristband is £14, Super Saver Wristband £16. It has rides that anyone can enjoy including the fun-house, pirate ship, the famous Great Yarmouth Roller-coaster which I love, twister, etc. There are a couple of rides that you will not be able to use your wristband on such as the go-karts, you need tokens for them.
Roller-coaster is great as it features a camera, which then takes your picture and you can have i ...

While the Pleasure Beach is not the best theme park I've ever been to, it's still worth a visit because there's something for all ages. It's also very cost effective and is a lovely afternoon out.

Me and my partner have been to Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach many times, and we both highly rate it. We are not surprised that it comes 2nd after Blackpool. There is plenty to do while in the park. All of the rides are great. In fact, the rollercoaster there was my very first coaster ride in my life, and I loved it (I originally come from Cornwall, and there are no pleasure beaches there). I also love the 'Sky drop', 'The twisters' and 'Disko'. The new 'Evolution' ride was quite intense, as it s ...
