Rude, offensive, hard sell, after 3 hours my husband had to almost threaten the dirty little scumbag they sent to us with violence to get him to leave our house - i felt unsafe in my own home for several months later.
The icing on the cake was when my husband for the 50th time said we only wanted a quote the toad said - "im not here to give you a quote im here to sell you windows" - my husband asked about the advert for the free quote service and was told "thats bullsh*t"....Nice!

They have one star only because it wont allow no stars - they should be closed down.

I had safestyle uk visit today 28 October 2009
As I had requested a quote from them. Over the years and especially in today's climate when you have to be on your guard , I have developed the technique of writing down a list of questions that I wish to ask. On the arrival of the representative I thought it only right to let him know of my intentions, of not only getting a quote from them ,but it was also my intention to invite other companies to tender quotes too. One of the first questions ...

Having had Safestyle around a few days ago for a quote i am in two minds about the company - the product seems to be of good quality and the (eventual) price was realistic and competative. However it took me 3 hours and much haggling to get the price down from £11k to just over £3k - however as others have seen this was quickly followed up by high pressure calls and imposed deadlines stating that the price would rise if the contract wasn't signed within 3 days.

All follow up calls w ...

door to door Safestyle UK salesman called the other day & asked if we would be interested in a price on a new front door.
i said yes & he arranged an appointment for 2 days later between 2 & 2.30pm.
on the day of the appointment a man phoned from their office to confirm the appointment. he asked my wife if we would both be there? she said only i would be available.
at 2.15pm the salesman arrived and got my name wrong.looked at his piece of paper & corrected himself
he came in and said he couldn ...

The Safestyle UK salesman was just like any other double glazing salesman who works on commission only, the safestyle staff are, in my experience, unpleasant to deal with, but the fitters were great. Their offer of BOGOF is a complete facade, as they don't actually supply the windows the offer is on, instead promoting the diamond range which they offer as the superior brand. Furthermore, even if you insist on the inferior type, you'll get the diamond range anyway. Therefore, for this blatant lyi ...

I have received an unsolicited telephone call from safestyle this evening. They have a record of my requesting a double glazing quote from them a while ago and wanted to follow it up. I have NEVER had any double glazing quotes. I was then told I had 6 windows at the front, 4 at the back, 1 at the side and two patio doors. I was stunned it correct but for them to ascertain this I must have been out and I work from home! They are correct but 1 of the patio doors is internal and can only been ...

"The SafeStyle Windows" salesman was very polite and did not do any hard selling. We agreed a very good price; this was not our first estimate. At the time of sale all my questions were answered and we were able to change a few details later. An honest lengthy survey was made and this man and the men who fitted the windows were efficient polite and tidy. After the fitters had gone one of the windows did not look right, I telephoned their office everyone was helpful. After inspection it was agree ...

    AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!

The Safestyle UK sales representative turned up over 20 minutes late

The guy lied about your 10 year guarantee. I specifically asked if it included locks, handles, glass and the frame and he said yes. Your paperwork does not state this it only covers the frames

We told the guy repeatedly that we were not in a position to agree to anything that night as we only wanted a quote as we had several other companies to talk to. I mean what idiot would sign up to spending thou ...

We have to let people know that the Safe Style UK french doors are not worth the money. The original rep assured my husband that the 'restrainers' fitted to the tops would be a certain type and these would stop the doors from swinging wildly. The first time we opened a door the wind swung it very wildly which alarmed us. After waiting for a fitter we were told they only have this type of restrainer not as sugggested by the salesman. They can't do anything as the supplier sends this to them. ...

Had Safestyle UK come on Saturday a rep for the company who wouldn't go unless I signed. I liked the quality of the window he showed me but then after starting at £13000 we ended up at £3995 but only if I signed then. I said no so he got rather shirty and said I wouldn't get that price again. I asked him to leave and gave me a hard time about missing out blah blah.....
    Dont bother with them,,,,

Had a door and window fitted in November 2007 by Safestyle UK. Wrong window was installed and so they came and fitted another in early 2008. It was a terrible installation and so they came out and fitted another door. By October 2008 they had been out lots, and sent a 'specialist' who said it was poor and another door and window was needed. Still waiting!! They have made 4 appointments and either turn up with wrong part or ring to say they can't find it. This company is a disgrace.

Totally sick of being fobbed off by safestyle for inferior goods to such an extent that I am now considering getting in touch with the Trading Standards Institute as it has become a total waste of time trying to speak to anyone at safestyle

The salesamn gave a seemingly random price of £2,500 for a replacement porch but informed me as it was been paid through the insurance he was the wrong person! he then knocked off £1,000 when I said Id had cheaper quotes but then offered to do it cheaper through his own company - which in my opinion seemed very unprofessional, he said he'd post quotes through but as yet I have not received them. I contacted safestyle to be informed that they dont do quotes for insurance work even ...

1st appointment no show but at least i had a call 1 hour later stating the salesmans car had broken down.
2nd appointment no show - running late - again a call but an hour later than appointment time.
3rd appointment - no one showed up and I didn't receive a call to confirm
Safestyle UK is a company advertising nationally on the TV and Radio, i would not recommend anybody contacts them, all I seemed to get were excuses, I felt they were a waste of time.

We had our Safestyle windows and door installed in the autumn 2000. The door was not what we'd been led to believe that we were buying, but as the workmen refused to leave our premises without a signature and we had a doctor's appointment to go to, we were forced to sign off on it and have lived with sub-standard doors ever since. Doors is in plural as the original one had to be replaced as it wasn't resistant to the English weather and the replacement door has subsequently had repairs done to i ...

I think I received very poor customer service from Safestyle UK. There was a mix up about time of the fitting and reasons for the delay. We ended up waiting the whole day, it was supposed to be in the morning, but according to their office, the van broke down. Very dissapointing when it eventually was fitted. Quality not good in my opinion, had to readjust doors etc. within couple of weeks and handles are already worn out after about 2 months!

I had work done by Safestyle about a year ago and I don't need any other work doing. But they keep ringing me! It has put my good buying experience with them in a bad light! I am sick of the ringing asking for more work as I have repeatedly told them I don't want work and now am thinking of making a complaint.

We have a 1856 cottage, so knocking out door frames is not the easiest job, the fitter was patient, did not rush and caused no damage to the walls when removing the frame. Our fitter was from the Wolverhampton branch and was extremely professional and efficient.

I was a bit worried when I read the reviews after purchasing the doors, but now I find it hard to understand that some people are complaining because they have gaps above their doors. After the fitting had taken place we were taken a ...
