Had Safestyle UK come on Saturday a rep for the company who wouldn't go unless I signed. I liked the quality of the window he showed me but then after starting at £13000 we ended up at £3995 but only if I signed then. I said no so he got rather shirty and said I wouldn't get that price again. I asked him to leave and gave me a hard time about missing out blah blah.....
Dont bother with them,,,,

Had a door and window fitted in November 2007 by Safestyle UK. Wrong window was installed and so they came and fitted another in early 2008. It was a terrible installation and so they came out and fitted another door. By October 2008 they had been out lots, and sent a 'specialist' who said it was poor and another door and window was needed. Still waiting!! They have made 4 appointments and either turn up with wrong part or ring to say they can't find it. This company is a disgrace.

Totally sick of being fobbed off by safestyle for inferior goods to such an extent that I am now considering getting in touch with the Trading Standards Institute as it has become a total waste of time trying to speak to anyone at safestyle

The salesamn gave a seemingly random price of £2,500 for a replacement porch but informed me as it was been paid through the insurance he was the wrong person! he then knocked off £1,000 when I said Id had cheaper quotes but then offered to do it cheaper through his own company - which in my opinion seemed very unprofessional, he said he'd post quotes through but as yet I have not received them. I contacted safestyle to be informed that they dont do quotes for insurance work even ...

1st appointment no show but at least i had a call 1 hour later stating the salesmans car had broken down.
2nd appointment no show - running late - again a call but an hour later than appointment time.
3rd appointment - no one showed up and I didn't receive a call to confirm
Safestyle UK is a company advertising nationally on the TV and Radio, i would not recommend anybody contacts them, all I seemed to get were excuses, I felt they were a waste of time.

We had our Safestyle windows and door installed in the autumn 2000. The door was not what we'd been led to believe that we were buying, but as the workmen refused to leave our premises without a signature and we had a doctor's appointment to go to, we were forced to sign off on it and have lived with sub-standard doors ever since. Doors is in plural as the original one had to be replaced as it wasn't resistant to the English weather and the replacement door has subsequently had repairs done to i ...

I think I received very poor customer service from Safestyle UK. There was a mix up about time of the fitting and reasons for the delay. We ended up waiting the whole day, it was supposed to be in the morning, but according to their office, the van broke down. Very dissapointing when it eventually was fitted. Quality not good in my opinion, had to readjust doors etc. within couple of weeks and handles are already worn out after about 2 months!

I had work done by Safestyle about a year ago and I don't need any other work doing. But they keep ringing me! It has put my good buying experience with them in a bad light! I am sick of the ringing asking for more work as I have repeatedly told them I don't want work and now am thinking of making a complaint.

We have a 1856 cottage, so knocking out door frames is not the easiest job, the fitter was patient, did not rush and caused no damage to the walls when removing the frame. Our fitter was from the Wolverhampton branch and was extremely professional and efficient.
I was a bit worried when I read the reviews after purchasing the doors, but now I find it hard to understand that some people are complaining because they have gaps above their doors. After the fitting had taken place we were taken a ...

In December 2007 I had 6 windows and 2 doors fitted by Safestyle UK costing £2,100 in total. The sales person wasn't high pressure and I made the decision the following day after looking at three quotes I'd obtained and I opted for safestyle.
The fitting team arrived on time and put down sheets to collect any mess. The work was carried out quickly and efficiently with very little disruption taking just over half a day to complete. All mess was tidied up and I was taken around to check ev ...

This is a follow up to my initial comments recommending Safestyle. Let down twice to come back and repair shoddy workmanship. Tops of front windows hadn't been sealed and doors had dropped to point that couldn't be locked. Both dates they promised to repair no-one turned up. When chased Customer services - first date they had no record of the visit, second visit - sat in all day only visit had been revised without notice! Poor aftersales and communication.

After contacting several local window companies in my area for appointments for a quote for new windows and French doors to the whole property, I contacted Safetsyle UK on the advice of my husband, who had seen their adverts. All window companies that came were extremely polite, professional and simply quoted exactly what we asked for and post out or emailed to us detailed quotes (no pressure involved). Safestyle on the other hand I thought were rude from the moment I contacted them. They insist ...

Had my windows and doors replaced by Safestyle last week and just want to say what a fantastic job they did. I was very worried if I'd done the right thing after reading some of the reviews, but in my case i can recommend them. I've just had a new kitchen with wall and floor tiles laid and was very concerned about their clause in the contract saying they cannot be responsible for damage, but the fitters did a great job fitting the windows without damaging any of my tiles. Fitters were courteous ...

The salesman from Safestyle UK came across nice and friendly, but that's his job. Never take the first, second, third or fourth price they give, as every quote is flexible.
The B.O.G.O.F (buy one get one free) offers are all sales pitch, along with the 55% free offers and the 5% discount for letting them take pictures of your windows, the internet discount offer....the call to the boss - the cancellation slot...They are all part of the sales techniques. EVERY ONE OF THESE SALES TECHNIQUES WAS ...

I didn't buy my window's with Safestlye. I got another quote (at just about the same price as Safestlye), but the man was in my home for all of 15 minutes and gave a price (not a special offer). He invited me to his factory to see windows being made if I was still interested, and then he left (bliss after a visit from Safestlye).
I recommend Imperial Windows if you live in the Chesterfield area.

In November 2006, we agreed a total contract sum, signed, sealed and we were given an installation date for December 2006. My finance deal went through within days, and everything seemed in place. About mid December 2006, someone from Safestyle UK called me to request an additional £800 for scaffolding, or else the contract would not go ahead. It is important to note that there was nowhere on the survey that they indicated scaffolding was needed...The surveyor confirmed it would not be nee ...

A salesman turned up on our door step, walks straight in without introducing himself. He was coughing without covering his mouth and stinking of smoke. When he left our house smelled of stagnant smoke. He didn't want to get the samples out of his car as it was raining and he had a bad back. He gave us no options for window decoration and Told us what style we should get. He gave us the hard sell and a price of £11500 for all windows and doors we said that sounded reasonable and he knock ...

I asked Safestyle UK for a quote on all my new doors and windows for my house. The sales man was at my house for several hours. The prices began at £16000, then with a 50% discount it somehow came down to £9500, and after an unsure look at the salesman, the quote came down to £8000 or £7500 if we signed that day. We stated in no uncertain terms that we weren't going to sign that day, so he reduced the quote again to £4500. Guess what? We signed!
The day of the fi ...

Just after buying my house I decided to refit the whole house with new doors and windows. After checking out the local competition I decided to opt for a cheap company Mr Glassman, a medium priced one Safestyle UK and a more expensive one St Helens Glass for my quotes.
Safestyle UK had the pleasure of giving me the first quote and from the moment the sales person walked in they started with an aggressive sales pitch. It took best part of an hour to get rid of this rude person who left me with ...
