Good Points: everything, fabulous time

General comments: We stayed at Yr Helyg during August and had an absolutely wonderful time. On our arrival we were greeted with a warm welcome by Anna & Miles the owners. We were shown out pitch, given a clear guide to the site amenities and then were left to unwind and have a cup of tea before having to settle our bill.
The site was immaculate. The views breath taking. The grass and flower beds are all kept to an impeccable standard. The pitches are level with a 16 amp hook up and TV point, which we have not come across before. In particular we liked the fact that there was a separate fridge/freezer to store our shopping goods in - free of charge. Even a television in the summerhouse.
The toilet blocks were kept clean to a very high standard. These are equipped with plenty of showers/wc sockets for hairdryers, and not once did we have to queue for the use of anything - even though we were staying in the middle of August.
Showers were 20p operated, 60p was ample for a good shower. We have in the past had to pay a pound plus on some sites.
Even though we had a torrential downpour mid holiday our pitch remained perfectly dry throughout the week.
We recommend and will definitely be going again.
