Good Points: Makes the most fantastic coffee Really easy to use Not too messy Easy to clean Heavy and robust
Bad Points: Struggling to find any
General comments: I no longer bother with Nero, Starbucks, etc. Because the Magimix makes such great coffee, their's now tastes really lame. At the risk of sounding very pretentious, the coffee tastes more like what you get from the independent Italian coffee shops. The best espresso I've found in the supermarket is Lavazza Qualita Rossa.
After a couple of weeks I thought the machine had a faulty filter holder as it was leaking. No quibbles, Magimix sent a new one that arrived within 2 days of my phone call. It actually turned out that I just wasn't tightening it enough.
The machine has a nice heavy feel to it and, looking at what else is available, is really good value.
I would recommend it to anybody - and already have.
