Good Points: Easy to use - suitable for beginner.
Bad Points: Dated
General comments: Yeahhh. The Canon EOS 1000FN is another 'easy to use for beginner' AF camera that produces decent images for someone with no knowledge or interest in photography. However, there are better ones around - it's big and clonky and manual operation is fiddly. Unless it's dirt cheap you'd be better off looking elsewhere.

I loved the Canon EOS 1000FN camera for its ease of use. You can either use the program settings portrait, landscape, macro and sport shots or you can change the settings on the camera e.g. to change the speed on the flow of water in a water shot was one of my favourites or just go auto and take fantastic photos.
