Good Points: This muesli from Dorset Cereals tastes really nutty just as it says in the title, although this is a new taste experience for a nutty muesli as it contains rarer nuts like cashews and brazils, as well as the well known hazelnuts and almonds. The rich fruits in this muesli recipe, apricots and dates, really bring out the flavour of the nuts. The richness of this muesli is well balanced with the crunchy wholegrains included too. Really nice packaging. Good size box 750g. Not dusty or too dry. Vegetarian society approved. High in fibre. Contains wholegrains. No added sugar, and contains naturally occurring sugars, with no added salt, and it is low in sodium. Money off coupon on the website. Dorset Cereals website has some really interesting features.
Bad Points: Allergy Advice: This muesli contains gluten, nuts, wheat and sulphur dioxide. May contain traces of sesame seeds. The whole range of Dorset Cereals recipes in only available in Waitrose, and selected ranges are available in Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsburys and independent stores.
General comments: Dorset Cereals Really Nutty Muesli is a crunchy mix of cashews, brazils, hazelnuts and almonds with apricots, dates, Chilean flame raisins and multi-grain flakes. There are four types of nuts in this muesli. Visit the website at www.dorsetcereals.co.uk for full nutritional information.
